i like it, but i think it'd look even better if it had the same light-scattering type of look that the brake lights have, instead of just a line of LED dots
nice. had a blinking brake light on a motorcycle. frankly, your whole car could be a blinking light and bad drivers will still plow into your car so i think all this stuff is feel-good features with no real-world benefit.
I am surprised no one has tried to run one through the trunk trim piece that connects the tail lights. If I had a gr86 I would be making one as soon as possible.
Honestly I can see this being a problem in stop start bumper to bumper traffic. Honestly distracting for the wrong reasons. At speeds though can definitely help and the best version would be one that only blinks like that over a certain speed or by how much force is applied to the brake pedal
Not braking force, because that would require the ECU to provide that information. Having an accelerometer measure the deceleration would be more than sufficient for a bolt-on aftermarket part.
@@FTspeed Adding an accelerometer to the circuit wouldn't actually be that expensive or complex. I reckon it could easily be done for say a 10 dollar price bump.
If you feel that strongly about it, buy some scotch tape and apply several layers of it to the inside of the lens. That should give you what you're looking for.
I definitely want one. The smoked out version complements the black trim on the trunk nicely.
Hope we cooked up a good one here guys. Let us know what you think, as well as any future ideas!
It’s amazing. Need it!
Clear taillights please!

Stoked to see what the clears look like
Note some countries don't allow red flashing lights on the street (reserved for emergency services), so the switch is great for track use
mopst road standards allow no more than 3 consecutive flashes followed by being solid on. the continuous flashing is what will get you pulled over
Shut up and take my money!
Nice! Just a quick question, where can I get the tint stickers for the rear turning lights?
Will definitely add this. Pretty good install video for a non-install video! Silver brz, so either smoked or silver.
Glad you like it!
i like the blinking function but i would prefer the light to be more defused, i dont like seeing the bulb hot spot.
That'll be the camera exposure showing you the LEDs. In use, to the eye, they diffuse (as do the LED-based lights)
It's the same design as the OEM light it was intended to replace.
Very cool light, the smoked out one is my favorite. Definitely let us know when they come available. 👍🏻

At least you can say you did everything you could!
Love it. Would prefer the flashing brake by the reverse lights, but this is cool
Love the smoked, planning to get that along with the smoked rear fog light when they’re in stock. Great videos! 👍🏻
Need them now please
I'd love to see this with a diffuser lens to break up the LED elements into a smooth red bar.
I would be tempted by the clear if it looked good over a silver car other wise I’m going red. F1 blinking function is a must.
Yes pls!
where will we be able to get one of these?

Not as simple as it sounds.
@@FTspeed I know, I have spent close to 2k on tools and materials for custom lights. I am still not done with my frs though.
Hi, are there any direct factory-fit replacement red calipers for the 2022 GR86 available? Preferably with the GR logo. Any help appreciated. Thx.
No there aren’t
Is there a way to have the 3rd and 4th brake light connected altogether? or is it just one way or another?
What do you mean connected together?
Dude my gr86 just got rear ended two days ago smh it was at a red light too. Only 800 miles on it too.
Sorry to hear this!
i think it needs a bit more diffusion
Does the blink pattern match the rth brake light blink?
There's no 4th brake lights currently offered on our website.
@@FTspeed what happened to this one? ruclips.net/video/wrF8COlw-wk/видео.html

That would make the light ridiculously expensive and no one would buy it, unfortunately.

What about the light that is in between the reverse lights?
in the states that's just a reflector
it would look maybe better but just a reflector what just joins the Rear Lights
We've got options for that as well. Check out previous videos.
please make it a single bar instead of individual LEDs
It was designed to match the OEM unit.
It looks really cheap because you can see all the led bright spots. They need to make it linear to match the brake lights.
It's the same design as the OEM light.

Since the Gr86 and 22 Brz release, i start feeling is the same type of community as the first gen, a lot of look mods but not much performance mods.
Tuning solutions are not available yet which is why you don't see as many performance modifications.
Tbh these single LEDs looks cheap. But the fitment looks great
why is it called F1?
Is it illegal?
Depends on the laws in your location which is why there is a switch.
If you are getting rear ended you blacked out your tail lights too much 😂
Depends how much black and how powerfull the lights are. Informate yourself please.
Waiting for someone to make clear taillights that fit this car. Then I'd pick up a clear one.
Definitely an interesting look
fck! stop installing stuff! my wallet!!!...welp ima buy it
Be better if it was the red light under the number plate like a real F1
We have those as well.
Waste of money. Keep it stock
