@@nsha5418 admission will be via WBJEE counselling itself. WBJEE counselling uses both WBJEE and JEE Main scores.

@@wikitaofficial If you are from WB you can get CSE/IT in govt colleges among them university of kalyani, MAKAUT will be your best option. You might get lower and new branches in CU. If you're choosing college in west bengal then I'd suggest you to go for govt colleges and try off campus placement. west bengal private colleges only have mass recruiters so it's not like you'll get significantly better on campus job than govt colleges.

Just 1 information about KGEC....the placement details which you told here about KGEC are actually correct but there is a rule of placements Perticularly in core branches that if you have got a job in core brance then you can't apply for any other job...even if you have got low package still you can't.....i myself is a victim of this rule....i didn't knew anything regarding this and had applied in a company with CTC 3 lpa and got the job....later on when other companies came with a package of 4.5 or 5 lpa I was restricted. And the saddest part is they won't state about this rule anywhere......you will come to know about this directly bieng the victim of this.....IEM is one of the best private college of West Bengal which i got back in 2018 but left it to join KGEC just because it was a government college....but probably that was one of the worst decision of my life.....so better if you are from west bengal and you have scored a good rank then either go for Jadavpur university or calcutta university or any private college with TFW quota if you dont have that budget.

CSE- avg 24.3 lpa,
IT-avg 23+ lpa
ETCE-avg 18+ lpa
IEE- avg 16+ lpa
Most of the branches avg package more than 10 lpa
Highest package 1.4 cr from Google London, highest domestic package 65 lpa (Apple)
9 student got more than 1 cr package.
Total 50 student got more than 40 lpa package.
