    DeepL is exactly what my company needs! I also recommend Littler Books, it has the best book summaries.

    Great video!
    What about the data security with the tools...
    Especially in DeepL or Chatgtp. I have some problems feeding the program with company information or even confidential or personal data. Is it allowed to use in a German large cap company?

    • @LeaDavid
      @LeaDavid  Год назад

      Hi, great question! Many large caps I know have a company subscription so you can feed the tools even with confidential or larger amounts of data. However, this is very much dependend on the company's subscription (if at all) or other internal company rules. In your case, I would suggest to check with your employer/data security specialits to be on the safe side. Best, Lea

    I'd be wary of Grammarly. I had a monthly plan which suddenly starred charging me for a full year. I got rid of it but when I tried to uninstall it parts of it wouldnt uninstall. I found its behaviour similar to malware. Very agressive.

    • @LeaDavid
      @LeaDavid  Год назад

      Hi David. Sure, you could always use the free plan but I see what you are saying. Many tools often start with a monthly plan/trial period that is automatically extended for a year if not cancelled proactively in advance. Hope you can make the best out of it. Best, Lea

      I’ve been using it for 5+ years. It’s a professional tool for anyone who has to write.

    • @dg-hughes
      @dg-hughes Год назад

      @@bradmoore1247 as long as it works for you. The reason I got rid of it is due to mistakes it made. This was 2019 so it may be better but after a few glaringly obvious mistakes for example the app confusing "its" and "it's" very fundamental stuff I ditched it (or tried to!).

    • @amskaran
      @amskaran 10 месяцев назад

      Ah, Grammarly! I have been familiar with it for a solid eight years due to it,s extensive presence. Initially, I was on the fence about its value, especially before its AI upgrade. But what a transformation it’s been! These past 02 months, with the annual subscription, have been a revelation. The way Grammarly now seamlessly syncs with all my devices - be it mobile, laptop, and it’s a star performance on the Mac - is simply phenomenal. I’ve transitioned from skepticism to being a true believer. It’s impressive, really. I urge you to give Grammarly a try. It’s my go-to tool, consistently outperforming others like QuillBot and WriteSonic. It’s not just a tool; it’s a game-changer in the realm of writing.❤🎉

    Thank you for an informative video. Would Notion be applicable for Academic thesis?

    • @LeaDavid
      @LeaDavid  3 месяца назад

      Hi, from experience, I would not recommend using Notion to write an academic paper. Better use word or Latex.

    Hi Lea, I'm feeling a little behind with AI, but I tell you that Bing GPT helped me prepare a Zoom presentation to several potential clients with suggestions I asked. Then, in Power Point I just wrote the text and in a couple of minutes with the Designer I had it ready. I took advantage of a lot of time to rehearse the presentation more than anything else. Greetings from Patagonia.

    • @LeaDavid
      @LeaDavid  Год назад

      Hi Rodrigo, thanks for sharing such a great example! I have also been using Bing GPT in parallel to ChatGPT and believe it's also a great tool. Glad to hear you have increased your efficiency by using those tools. All the best to Patagonia, Lea :)

    Hi Lea, I don't know if you are interested in that at all, but an additional video about this topic from a German speaker's perspective would also be really helpful. AI tools are often designed mainly for an English-speaking market. There are definitely tools that _also_ work great in e.g. German, they're just much harder to find.

    • @LeaDavid
      @LeaDavid  Год назад +1

      Hi Halvar, thanks for sharing and suggesting this. Fully agree that this would be an interesting topic to discuss, however, since I would like to make my content for as many people as possible, I will probably stick to English for now. Thanks for understanding and best, Lea

    What are your thoughts around the longevity and security of Notion? I’m thinking of building a personal & professional database structure using Notion. But I wonder if it will be worth it in the long run. Hmm, maybe that’s just the risk with any digital platform, right?

    • @LeaDavid
      @LeaDavid  Год назад +1

      Hi Tony. As you say, as long as you are not using very much established tools like the Microsoft Office ecosystem and tools (which have been around for decades) you will always face that risk. But based on the number of users, adoption, and growth of Notion I do not see the risk of it disappearing anytime soon (rather the opposite). Best, Lea

    Another great video thanks Lea. Deeplr big weakness vs google translate is it is very limited in that it only has 30 languages compared to google translate which has 100 more languages ( 133 ) . If you live or travel to Africa it is of no use

    • @LeaDavid
      @LeaDavid  Год назад +2

      Thanks, Andrew! Very valid point with the number of languages available. But for the more common ones I would always go with Deepl and for the less common ones then use Google Translator. Best, Lea
