Its very impressive that they run their horse operation like this! These horses are no doubt happy, highly intelligent, sure footed and tough. They are allowed to grow, socialize and learn from their families as nature does best. They'd be worth owning for sure. Maybe others raising horses will try to follow the O R O's example. Thank you for posting this. Much needed and is appreciated.

I have one of their retired geldings. Best horse EVER! Also, it's not O-RO. It is O RO. Pronounced O.R.O. Good video.

Interesting! Our mom had a gelding she got back in the '50s who was sired by a O RO stud. It was a great family & ranch horse.

Yes, decent system giving a horse some horse time. Have to have access to good handlers. Not every cowboy is suited to this system. It ain’t the animal that makes it work. It is the combination. Stay safe.

Nice meant video but there are a few things that bother me and in my opinion has nothing to do with this ranch. Why are you showing a lot of times other breed of horses like Island horses and warm blood horses? Some look like mustangs and even prezewalski horses! I don´t think it´s in the interest of the ranch, when they have so much own horses to show! There is even one mare who is bond to a rope while her foal is free wich could lead to big injuries if the mare gets into panic mode bc her foal is in danger! I have never heard of such kind of practice in the USA. It´s more often done in countries sometimes where people can´t afford fences. And the last thing is this horse shoe you showed in this video... in my opinion it´s not fitted right! If this is meant to shows how this cowboys are doing it themself ( which I think sometimes happen if you are out miles away from the ranch), it´s not a good promotion for them! I´m not sure, if they are aware of it!
Sorry to say that but I think a little bit more research would have been better bc horse people see this mistakes in this video, too! The competitors don´t sleep..

Thanks for watching! Many of our videos have to use stock footage because of copywrite laws. We try to do this with integrity and paint ranches like O R O in the positive light they deserve. Thank you for keeping us honest and giving such great feedback so we can keep improving with each and every video!
