According to BTS themselves, Jimin has the highest tone among the members, so I think that is one of the reasons why he is usually in charge of belting and ad libs in high notes. His voice stands out beautifully and his tone is truly unique. Jungkook is wonderfully versatile and stable and can hit crazy notes with a drop of a hat. Jin has such an emotive, passionate voice that when he belts, you melt. Tae is really one of the few singers I know who has an insane vocal range, as deep as his voice is, he not only pushes himself to reach really high notes but also complements perfectly with the rest of the vocal line. They all work hard as hell getting here and that is why the BTS vocal line is THAT amazing. I really encourage you guys to watch their live performances more, they're mind-blowing. Yes, Jimin is the one who is in charge of doing high notes mostly. He is doing a great job. Jin is also excellent. Jin’s Epiphany and Crystal Snow high notes are everything but you should hear his “scream” in Dionysus. Jungkook is great at every “vocal” thing (everything actually))) but I think Jimin’s voice is the most suitable for those notes. High pitched. Taehyung is not doing high notes in group songs, but as you can see he can hit them too.

Actually in my opinion even tho jimin has the highest singing voice I consider he is the weakest in techinique comparing to the rest of the vocal line. At least that's what I've noticed through the years. He used to do better high notes before fake love era, but that's just what I've noticed

All of them can do high notes and beautiful falsettos.
Jungkook's most iconic one would be in "On", for V it would be "Stigma" but its more of a falsetto (which make sense as he is a baritone), for Jimin it would be iconic A5 highnote in "Let me know" but he can hit Bb5 while for Jin it would be his iconic triple hignote in "Crystal Snow".
And when it come to belting it would have to be Jin and Jimin.

If it's not already known or clear to you, Jimin is definitely the king of high notes in BTS. The members themselves know this and say it all the time that they have to raise the key of some of the songs to match his high voice, his range is really wide and his vocal tone is naturally very high, which is why he sounds so relaxed even when he's waaay up there with his high notes. Please react to Jimin high notes and raspy vocals(updated), it's a perfect video to showcase what i'm talking about.

That one with Jin singing the high pitch verse on a 'rap song' is *Comeback Home* and it is a remake of a classic Kpop song with the same name by Seo Taiji and the boys, they did the remake to promote the 25th anniversary show of Seo Taiji, where BTS performed with Seo Taiji kinda of uniting both Kpop generations

The song at 9:05 is called Come Back Home. It is actually a cover and the original song is considered one of the first kpop songs ever. The creator of that song is credited as the creator of kpop.

If you would like to make a Jimin weekend I would recommend to watch his solo song Lie live version. It shows not only Jimin's vocal but also his extaodinary dancing skills (you could see it especially in fancam videos).
And for me this song is a bit special because it uncovered my "dark side" - I'd never thought that seeing somebody "struggling" onstage with eyes covered could be such a joy! But that's Jimin - sexy grown-up mochi... I mean, yeah, when Jimin is performing, everybody is Jungshook

Take note that when singing ballads or japanese songs, Jin excels in it. His voice is meant for Japanese songs since Japanese tend to have sharper, higher or finer voices when speaking.

@@elise9355 of course Jimin's voice is good and he has the most androgynous voice of the bunch. But Jin's voice definitely matches male Japanese singers more (like i.e. Exile Shokichi or Hiroomi Tosaka) , in fact, his range is very jpop. Jimin's voice has flavor so it is used to accentuate the song. V and Jk both have soulful voices to which the former has a sexier vibe which is good for idyllic and jazzy songs while JK is more rnbish- pop. It's just a matter of their tones.
@@dorkshoujo i don't not know much with the the things you stated because i don't like someone voice by comparing with other singers. I like the unique sound of voice jimin has. I saw so much comments saying that jin shines on Japanese songs and i was very curious to listen and i mean they have the same texture just like in Korean on. As for high notes jimin has some cryzy on like in you r eyes tell,stay gold,crystal snow. Jimin parts in light, let go and don't live me are very unique so why just jin?
@@elise9355 it's because it's japanese. If you've listened to a fair amount of Japanese tracks, maybe that might make you hear the difference. Jimin's voice is amazing and unique but we are talking about the vocal tones common in japanese songs. In korean songs, they (jimin and jin) have a tendency to be similar because of the language. In fact, in korean and english songs, Jimin's voice stands out a lot because of his style in singing where he has 2 to 3 kicks in his voice at the end if his lines. Very MJ actually. Jin's voice is very difficult to manage because it's fragile. It's thin. That's why he gets the ballads for solos. Jimin has a higher range but it has more volume. You might want to check vocal coaches or producer's reactions more about their singing since they notice the little details. I've taken voice classes for 3 yrs when I was young and am very familiar with Japanese, korean, mandarin, french and american songs so I'm simply basing it from what I've heard and reseached so far. This isn't a competition wherein Jin is better than Jimin. It's simply comparing 2 diff. instruments. And FYI I like Jin but my bias here is hobi, just needed to get that out 😅

I just saying that they sound the same Japanese and Korean like the part's they sing have they same sound it's just that in Japanese songs are more laid back. I don't think jin has the fragile and thin voice it's certainly jimin has the thin voice and jin has more power and more rounder high notes. I don't really have to say much about jin singing English or jimin in ballads because they didn't explore much in those parts and i certainly think they can do it very good. Like i have heard jimin singing epiphany on those rehearsals and he sounded very good. I really don't care about who is your bias because it is not really important when you discuss the way they sing and sound

BTS discography is really vast and impressive. They've been singing for 7 years (June 1013) not only singing but performing. And it was only in September 2019 that they took their 1st real vacation (1 month ).crazy right? and they say they didn't know what to do with themseves and it was also the longest time they haven't been together or see each other.May I suggest you discover 1 old song a week. Now for the vocal line you should check Jimin lie and Serendipity, , for Jk Euphoria and Begin, for Jin Awake and Epiphany and V you already did it. Yes they sound so much better live. I've seen them three times (London Wembley stadium + the Apollo Arena) just amazing , and the videos doesn't give me the them justice They are phenomenal and gave us Army their 100%.
V always say you should love them equally so in the way it means you should have 7 Biais. So do whatever you want. Now in KPOP culture usually you have your bias and the bias wrecker (the one who threatened to take your ultimate bias place you can have many of them). My bias is V and my 2 bias wrecker are Jimin and JHope. But I love them all so much. So sometimes RM, Suga, Jin and JK try to wrecked all of them. Sorry for the long post. Yes, the highest note on cristal snow is Jin. But a lot of people think is jimin, because he’s do the other one.

The song where you commented right after about them having so many nice songs to explore (around 7:26) is 'Crystal Snow', one of their Japanese songs, both the melody and lyrics are so beautiful (it is also at 3:30 and 12:08). This is the best live version that I've found (from their 4th Muster in Japan) as it has English subs and Jin's famous triple high note:

The one with the Latin vibe at 11:25 is 'Airplane Pt. 2' (from LY: Tear), which has an Official MV. If you've already filmed (or will film) a reaction to their MMA 2018 performance then you'll have seen it there too. :) Fun fact: This song is a follow-up to/inspired by J-Hope's 'Airplane' from his mixtape Hope World, and his verse in 'Airplane Pt. 2' is the same as one of his verses from 'Airplane' (although the songs actually sound quite different).

- It haven't showcase another half of Jungkook's wonderful voice
- It also missed out half of Jin's high notes (& not updated i.e recent albums' songs like Jin's Dionysus belt)
*About Jin & Jimin*
- They BOTH have same role in BTS' songs most of the time (especially recent years)
- Jimin is a high notes belter since debut, Jin gradually improved so much and now at par
