Wouldn't be surprised if the documentary gave them money afterwards an the change of heart was just for the nice story. But that's just the pessimist in me I guess.
In Thailand we have this tight relationship between humans and coconut picking monkeys but United Kingdom politicians accused us of ANIMAL TORTURE and ban our coconut products. So ironic that you made the documentary tributing monkey training here.
What a beautiful, gentle, caring man. He treats Bobo with love and respect. I didn’t care for his wife until the very end - and then I loved her. This little documentary was fascinating. I love monkeys and apes.
I cried when he died food due to being sad and again when his wife did the selfless act of buying bobo back to make her husband happy! Beautiful story!
Bobo means dumb in the Tagalog language. He's the total opposite. And the wife's love for his husband and the husband's love for Bobo is very touching.
You can tell this man has a gentle heart, the way he handles Bobo ,also the little kitty ,Boron was looking so hopeless without Bobo nice story with a happy ending 😊
Si, è importante capire che in questo mondo non esiste solamente una cultura da imporre agli altri popoli, ma c'è questo pericolo che alcuni popoli vogliono "insegnare" ad altri come vivere.
The monkey is loved and treated like a worker and a beloved pet. The monkey eats in the home with his human companions also. Guess your didn’t watch this?
@@NikkieRoxxx Have a look at a wider picture of the world surrounding us. The Queen's guards rides on what on four legs? The cowboys rides on what? The police dog does what ? I guess nobody understands it.
Always a miserable hater somewhere trying to ruin it so others will also be miserable too. Besides, where exactly did you get your insights from? Who says animals belong in the wild? Just saying that is just someone's opinion just as it is someone's opinion if they think it's OK to keep an animal for a pet. Nobody really can say either way right or wrong it's all a matter of opinion. My opinion, we was given animals as gifts for whatever reasons they might be. For example a dog or k-9 was a gift for companionship and a feline or cat was to protect us from evil (most people don't know that) and obviously in this county or area the monkey helps with climbing the trees to get the coconut. Chickens for eggs or meat. Donkey for carrying heavy loads. Horse for transportation. I can continue with my point but I think/hope it's understood. I believe every animal was our gifts from above to help us thrive here on earth for whatever reason each might be. But like I said haters gonna hate and misery loves company so I'm sure you got something else to say being a downer Debby. Right? Sorry for speaking how I feel actually nope I'm not because this was such a beautiful story and yet you single handed tried to ruin it for everyone my guess is because you are a miserable soul. 🙃 you should try meditation or something that will help your situation become better so then maybe you too can actually smile and feel joy that you should have felt from this video. FYI how you know that monkey isn't happier there then being in the wild living day by day fighting to survive versus being loved and cared for not having to worry about everything it would normally worry about in the wild.
I too would rather have the primates living in the wild. But Bobo seems to be content in the company of his owner and has developed close relationship with humans. Not bad after all.
You know, that is some serious mental gymnastics , topped with frosted SJW. Leeme see if i get this straight. It's Ok to keep an animal locked in a unnatural Gilded Cage, than to have it existing in an environment a little more indicative of the creatures natural state. Most Queens I know are Classically Educated... u must be from USA.
Glad that turned out! I was feeling bad for the man who was so sad. Good to be single, he wouldn't have a wife to take away his joy. But thankfully, she turned around and showed kindness to her good husband! Whew!
There is something wrong...? I don't think as long as Bobo is treated with non-violent love, it's good. This type of monkey is very much in our country
Ini negara aku saya bangga sekali karna negara aku Indonesia mempunyai tradisi atau beragam suku ras dan agama saling menghormati karna indonesia semua itu saudara walaupun berbeda agama tatap kami saudara
Keeping an animal In chain is cruelty and inhumane, they use like slaves , I don’t see good people only soulless that use the animals for their own convenience and I hate people keeping them slaves , and human is hypocrite they say they believe in God ?but which God , I don’t see love in the animals , only slaves, labor, and abuse and cruelty and only thus kind of people can 👿💩🤬do this 🤬🤬🤬💩💩💩💩😈😈😈😈
@@saralopez9514 humans have always had working relations with animals. Dog's horses monkeys etc and if the animals are treated right and well cared from they normally learn to love their work and their handler. Sad that so many can't seem to grasp this and see the beauty of a human animal working relationship.
I wonder how old this documentary is. The benevolent tone of the narrator belies the reality of using monkeys labor. It's not cute. There's plenty of information on the internet.
Isn’t it interesting how people in certain countries use the excuses of “culture” and “tradition” to justify abusing and exploiting animals that share 98% of our human DNA. How would YOU like to be enslaved? How would YOU like it if your women were killed and a monkey took your child and ran off with it to exploit it and make money off of it? You can tell EVERYTHING about a culture and people by how they treat their animals, and when you look in the mirror beware of who looks back at you.
Obviously not all these monkeys in this business are treated bad. I've seen another owner who treats their monkeys quite well. Think of huskys and working dogs on farms. They also serve the same purpose and they also r a part of the family. Monkeys need the activity too. Pet monkeys often lack that ability to work of energy or socialize so they become restless and agitated
I felt sorry, when Bobo was sold and it hurt, seeing the Oldman and I started to think, how can this woman think of selling Bobo🤔, who was apart of their family, how can she be so heartless😡. But after she bought it back, I was happy, my anger on her, totally vanished and then I calmed down & my inner being said "oh! I take back my words, woman do have a heart".🤗
She turned out to be a good woman after all she bought the monkey back for her husband that’s wonderful🥰🙏😁💕👍

He’s so gentle to his pet. Like some parents they’ll whack their unbehaved child
Good that animals and people cooperate/working together , future to paradise!
Oh Bobo, how sweet🥰
The old man said when his wife served him food "i'll never eat till i die".
That shows US how he loves Bobo like his own child.
The friendship between bobo and the couple is amazing, bobo is an animal like a human,,
How sad to other people who treated human like animals,
She think Bo bo is worthless, My tears fallin when the master prove it's worth then she sold it heartbreaking 😢 never expect a beautiful ending 🥰😍
I cried when he died food due to being sad and again when his wife did the selfless act of buying bobo back to make her husband happy! Beautiful story!
there is no selfless act. She bought the monkey back because she would have lost her cash cow... her husband. It was a tactical move.
I saw that video when his wife sold it then buy it back wife tried to feed her husband but he don't eat he was hurt from wife he died
You know what he said when his wife brough him a food after she was selling bobo? He said "i'll never eat (anything again) till i die"
