ND3 Reverse Lights on a ND1/ND2 MX-5 Miata (Wiring Guide)

If you have upgraded to ND3 Reverse Lights, you'll notice that there is no wiring within the harness on the ND1/ND2 Miatas. That is because the reverse lights are in the bumper bar.
You'll need to tap the reverse lights in the bumper bar (white/black cable) and run them to both your ND3 Tail Lights (Green Wire).

Really cool. Do you think this could work the other way? Could ND1/2 reverse lights work on an ND3?

Most definitely though you’d need to also pick up the bumper reverse lights.

@@xNoXiDe standard car electrical is about 20AWG I believe.
