Thank you very much for the kind words. If you are ever interested in anything, let me know, and I will see if I can find a place to dig it. I'm like a radio station in the 80's I take request , but also like the 80's it maybe a while before you hear your song or in this case mineral dig LOL
The chalcedony in the fire agates is so pretty they sure are going to polish up really nice! Just love the donkeys 🫏 so very cute. Im with you, Bee's no thank you, and you said you have killer bees there. Oh nono
When I was a kid, I used to live out there. The town of Oatman was a favorite spot of mine it's so full of mining history, and those donkeys are left over from the old miners. Oh yeah, the Africanized bees have been in Arizona for a while. Now I'm not 100% sure those were them, but when there is that many bees better safe than sorry, the desert can be a crazy place 🤣
Thank you , a better way to have done it would have been 2 out and 3 back just in case , but I know that area pretty well from when I was a little kid , the desert is no place to mess around, not as scary as the open ocean but still
Very nice fire agates! I like the lava rock, too 😊 Pretty neat to see the wild burrows walking the streets. I bet people are always feeding them. Thanks for another fun adventure ❤
Oh yeah you can't walk through that town with out a shop selling burrow food ... but only feed them burrow food or the people in town will go off , those burrows are their buddies and babies
Wow that one at 12:56 is amazing! 17:38 maybe has common opal on it. The one you found right after look pretty dang good. 22:05 which I think is the one you pulled out from between some bigger rocks with tour rock hammer, looks really cool. Nice video.
Yeah I was popping good stuff left and right, two things stopped me from getting more. 1) the heat And 2) a bush I'm pretty sure was covered in Killer Bee's ... even if it wasn't I'm not taking chances in Arizona lol
Very beautiful finds all of them are so beautiful and amazing color. The animals that you showed are a plus. Great job can’t wait to see them polished.
Alright, a leisurely walk through a desert wash to find fire agates sounds much more pleasant than the last trip. It'd be interesting for you to weigh your total haul on your return from your out West adventures. We agree with you, everything is alive. I think they call that animism. It's very normal in Asia and we just look like weirdos in America talking to rocks. 😂 Awesome petrified Atari game find. Too bad it isn't playable.
I knew it had a name , I have always felt everything has a spirit. Used to drive my Sunday School teachers insane 🤣 I been playing the emulator of it and not sure I know what I'm doing still 6 weeks later🤣🤣
That was amazing! You founda some really awesome pieces there! And that gorgeous agate too! Really cool area that wash was in and so many gorgeous chalcedony pieces! Awesome! Ive been sick with covid again ao im late on everyone's videos. But that was worth watching a day late! Thanks Jeff!❤
Oh nooo I hope you get feeling better soon ( You got something coming in the mail 😃) so your gonna have to make sure you got some go for trilobites .. and never worry about being late to a video I'm so far behind it's not even funny
Fun video, my friend! And thanks for the reminder/tip about how expensive gas prices are out there...yowza. Glad you didn't have any snake run-ins, and were able to avoid the bees. Will you be coming to any of the Arkansas mines this fall?
Oh yeah for sure I will be,just gonna let it cool off a bit more and wait for the place I usually stay go into winter rates . I will hit you up on the book of face and let you know when I plan to head that way.
Hey, it’s my favorite rock/fossil hunting guide. One of the few channels I’ll let the ads play for. I’m sure it’s great to be able to just do a surface hunt when it’s hot. You would have gone through 5 bottles of water in no time if you were digging. We’re these the agates we got a peek at when you were washing off your finds in a previous video? I’m still behind, and been watching things out of order to boot. I’m a rebel like that. Kind of cool to find that old Atari game out there. Makes you wonder how it ended up there. I like to pretend I’m a gamer, though my reflexes are terrible. It’s always been a way my kids and I bond.
They are the same kind of agates just in bot nearly as nice as the ones I dug out of the ground, these have been eroded out so they have probably lost a little (if not a lot) of something . I was just super happy to have been able to find out what game it was , knowing that area it was probably dumped out in the desert years and years ago, when I was a kid and lived out there my grandpa and I used to walk around the desert looking for what we called "desert treasures" we had found every thing from old Sofas to an actually really nice set of dishes, that was back in the late 80's early 90's. I'm sure people still dump stuff out there but didn't run across much this trip.
@@valiantwarrior4517 I am but its about trilobites LOL Also Im incredibly lazy and just haven't sent yours and Lisa's out yet ... I better get on that or its gonna end up being a Christmas present LOL
@@huntingrocks 😂 No pressure, sir. I know you must be really busy. I’ve been meaning to ask you if you’ve found any new trilobite species to add to your list this summer. Or did I ask already? Heck, I can’t remember what I say or don’t or dream or not. I have a vague memory of you replying that you found some new ones, but they weren’t in that particular video? Now I might just be making things up.
@valiantwarrior4517 hahaha it's all good , no new species yet , found bits that maybe ... also speaking of trilobites keep an eye on your P.O. Box ... it's only been what 3 months ?? 🤣 I'm not fast but I do come through lol
