      They already did. Do you think 5k is a lot?
      Back in the 90’s digitizing software was as expensive as the industrial multihead embroidery machines.

    So what about you guys developing a software with a reasonable price? Even hatch that it is your "personal usage" version is just too expensive, as someone who lives in a country with a broken economy buying wilcom would cost 15 months of minimum wage, without taking other expenses in account, buying hatch would take around 5/6 months, without taking other expenses in account, in a realistic scenario there is no way to have the money to buy the software because i have to simply live, as a small business owner, just myself working, buying hatch or wilcom would literally make me close door because i would have to increase my prices (like you guys suggested on the video) and i would not get clients because they would say that it is too expensive, like they already complain even with me giving prices that are borderline hurting me, just to be able to hold clients, for a big business this price will not hurt a lot, but what about ppl that have a small business? What about a person that only does personal stuff? You guys really need to give us better payment options, more flexibility goes a long way.
    You guys are just acting like a big brand worried way to much about money, i know that software development cost a lot of money, but it is not like you guys are into a hyper active development with super frequent software updates, it is like adobe with photoshop but with even less new features or bug fixes.

      Hi Leonardo. We really appreciate your insight. We listen, so thank you. We've just launched a subscription option for our top-end Designing level of EmbroideryStudio. Instead of paying $4,000 you can now access the top-end software on a very affordable monthly subscription.

      are you a professional digitizer? if not then wilcom e4 is not for you. you are basically wanting a high tag program that you won't use like a professional digitizer does. if hatch is too expensive as well then you are in the wrong industry.

      As a blind person, I would like to say that yes the software is very expensive even at $150. It could get expensive specially the fact that you need to be in a contractual agreement with the company that you are going to be paying the yearly license is there any way that hatch could get more features to at least level D professional field to the professional software I love the program it’s intuitive. It’s definitely very robust Naya so see and understand and value what the gentleman is talking about. I think the digitizing Avenue in any professional program such as Adobe as well we want the very best to give our clients the very best that’s why we seek the very best software to help us shine and showcase to our clientele that we are the very best but I think a two week communication will be great with the company. Thank you so very much, I also believe that creating constant updates and improving software. It’s very important from E4 .5 to the new strategic subscription software that you guys have had I think it’s been three years why is the industry taking so long to adopt to AI and new changes compared to other industries in theprint method like for example, adobe or even corral draw they’re constantly updating. Thank you so much keep up the great work.

      @@naldopr1030 Yes, i've been on this for more than 8 years, but i work alone, i'm not inside a big factory or smthn like that, and not to try sound cocky, i really know what i am doing, exists scenarios where a expensive software is not viable, not because the workflow of the person, but because the country, brazil has a broken economy, i can't buy the software without having to raise my prices and loose clients with this, like i said before, they already complain about the price even with me trying to optimize the heck out of every design/embroidery to make the price as low as possible without hurting quality, lots of middle east countries have broken economy too, some of my friends even have the freaking money but are not able to buy it because Wilcom made it just hard even to pay for the software.

      @@juan2617 $150 usd is more than half of the brazilian minimum wage just to have an idea of how expensive gets to us, and considering the fact that it is a subscription model, where if i stop to pay i can't use the software, 150 is just not fair, wilcom is not storing lots of data or something like that, storage can get expensive, but just allowing someone to download a file and give them a temporary key is not, but considering the fact that wilcom is "for the brands" one i kinda get it being more expensive, but the problem is the fact that wilcom is just better than hatch because some little extra things and how much you can tweak things, for professional work, for ppl that really care about their craft, wilcom will always be the best one in their eyes if they have the opportunity to give a test to both softwares, so while i could buy hatch paying almost the same monthly the fact that hatch is an artificially capped software will always be there, hatch is literally wilcom on "pretty" ui with less features, at least hatch that is the "Normal ppl" software need a better payment plan, specially for ppl outside us, payment half of a minimum wage for 12 months is not sustainable for a small business, hatch being the normal user focus software need to be mindfull of this, the fact that ppl with not a lot of money will be buying to do just personal stuff, the fact that small business that don't make a lot of money will be buying it.
      And for ppl that will just comment "well just make more money"
      Sometimes making more money is not easy, and sometimes ppl want to keep working as a 1/2 team, keeping stuff tame and quality focused, not everyone want to turn into a chinese embroidery factory.

    I am a blind embroider, seance wilcome introduced embroidery studio, digital edition, I am able digitize and embroider now at a lower price point the fact that I’m just being $145 a month, I really don’t know what to say about him. He’s an amazing digitizer he showcases a lot of what is possible, but you’re very much right he just got hired by a very reputable company. I hope that he is kept in good standing in most of all I’ve never seen a company put out a PSA that they did right now I really don’t know what’s going to happen I really feel bad for the guy because I think that he was doing so well to showcase some beautiful art, as far as the art itself, but the art of doing digitizing explained it so well

    Is there a way to copy dongles? Because I want to use my program on two different locations (home and work), but I'm too nervous to take the ONE dongle I can use my software, in the chance to lose it.

    • @LeonardoMacedoEMB
      @LeonardoMacedoEMB 10 месяцев назад +1

      Knowing wilcom as a brand i would not dare they just saying to you to buy a new copy of the software just to have two dongles.
      There is the digital version now, you can make the upgrade for it, lines about if you will be charged or not for it are blurry at the moment because there is no clear info anywhere on their website and personally i got told by a wilcom seller (barudan brazil) that i would be charged if not upgraded in 10 days after buying the software.

      You cant! I called them and they said no. They told me that i needed to get another license (dongle).

    • @Wilcom_Int
      @Wilcom_Int  9 месяцев назад

      With the new release of Digital Edition version you no long require a dongle. It's a digital license which you log in and out of any computer. Dongles cannot be technically copied as it is a whole new license.

    I hope he saved some of the cash. He will need it to pay his bills.
    My problem with this guy was that he portrayed himself as a knowledgeable person in the industry when he was not. Not cool! And plainly unethical.
    Just like with most crafts or professions, it takes years and years of experience to get the expertise needed to produce quality embroidery, but ken was selling his viewers the idea that anyone can do it.
    Not cool!
