Amazing half-wing landing at 4:47. One of the best RC performances I‘ve ever seen. Great pilot!

IKR? That was totally awesome to see that plane land with just the left wing attached.
I've tried that in Real Flight, it's incredibly difficult.

That Extra landing has to be the single most epic piece of rc flying ever.
Any landing where nobody gets hurt is a good landing.
Having your airplane arrive in the same number of pieces as it left is a definite plus.
The rest is just style points.
Although, HOLY CRAP that one wing landing was EPIC awesome.
Waow that F-16 landing was the best ad for the landing gear manufacturer ever.

It has been done quite a few times now. The skill required to do it is right up there!!!
That was one crazy video. The best was the plane with one wing that came down in a knife edge then flipped onto the mains at the last minute. Hands down the best of them all!

I have a rewind button here, just for when I wish to watch something again. Thankfully I also have a speaker mute button too. Apart from that, some of the aircraft were great looking.
As for that plane landing at 05:00 with only one wing, that was super skilful.

Well, i learned what I thought would work for a plane design, well I didn't, but I saw what makes me believe it'll work.
muito bom, os replays ficaram ótimos, são extremamente necessários no caso dos jatos
O RUclips tem replay sob comando do usuário para quem quer ver de novo cada pouso. Basta voltar e tocar novamente. Pode até pausar e andar para trás e para a frente quadro a quadro, com "". O replay no vídeo é desnecessário, torna o vídeo chato.

Eu tive que trazer o aero com leme. Eu havia esquecido de conectar o conector de ailerons. Fui obrigado a usar o leme e sem ailerons. Kkkkkkkkk.

There are some good clips here, but maybe only 1/3 of them? Thumbs up on those.
Now, can we PLEASE all agree that a tail dragger tipping up on its nose is not unusual? Same with a missing wheel or one gear retracted. Certainly no need to see it 3 times in slo-mo.

This is why I only fly on good days. It lessens the chance of me having a bad day.
Also, maiden flights aren't only to see if it flies, it's also meant to see how it flies.
Practice slow flight and stall recovery.
I think this has drilled into me - when in trouble - go around !
opa opa! some nice clips, i just always wonder how does it get so far, there are signs that you have to correct you flying, but the tolip just chooses to continue...

I think every other clip I saw twice. once full speed and once in slow motion. they should also label this as sketchy landings and not crashes.

Reminds me of most German RC pilot videos. They can't land or takeoff in a controlled manner. Don't believe me than watch their videos.
wind shear is a big problem with these less powerful rc planes

3:50 not really a stable approach with the crosswind from the far side, probably too fast as well. lots of aileron instead of rudder being used. Determines he is to far over then tries to correct for it. Tries to straighten up while ballooning and overcooks everything. Shame, nice model.
2:32 no back pressure on elevator = bounce now it is flying with insufficient speed, drops a wing and naturally yaws towards it. Ouch was a nice model. Hope the guy it ran into is ok.
8:40 relaxes back pressure too much and bounces breaking left undercarriage leg, but the addition of power gets control back and allows the pilot to complete the landing...

10:06 Classic bounce, Approaches too fast, desperate to get on the runway so the pilot reduces back pressure resulting in a big bounce. With the high angle of attack, speed now runs out fast leaving no where to go but down. Dumps it in losing undercarriage. Should have kept back pressure on and either landed long or gone around if the runway was short. If the bounce had still occurred then application of power immediately would have facilitated a recovery before landing or a go around.
Two legged planes with the 2 wheels on the front like the Corsair @ 4:25 are tricky to land, when touchdown never pull the elivater, strait it out, or even a little down, preventing the pane take off when a blow of wind hits the plane at that moment.
Not all of those were crashes or fails, there were some pretty good saves. I did see some camera fails though.
