    When Griffin Armament designed the HRT-556™ for elite Hostage Rescue Team units, the goal was to deliver a compact, highly durable, low flash, and top performing suppressor utilizing the new DUAL-LOK™ active retention system, an often time-demanded feature by government customers. Griffin is proud to now complete the HRT lineup with the HRT-762™. This suppressor fleshes out the HRT lineup by providing .30cal capability to the commercial market, maintaining the developments of the HRT-556™.
    The HRT-762™ features the patent-pending DUAL-LOK™ mounting system, an accurate, robust, reliable, and wear free system with robust muzzle device support. The suppressor itself was designed to have minimal flash signature, despite its size, minimal weight, minimal POI shift, minimal gas blowback, maximum strength, durability, and sound performance. This was a tough list of performance attributes to tackle, but Griffin succeeded by bringing unbeatable sound suppression and flash reduction to this compact suppressor.
    Baffle technology is carried over and tuned from the 4th generation Recce Suppressors, borrowing the ECO-FLOW™ patented feature that greatly increases performance. ECO-FLOW™ baffles reduce back-pressure, promoting flow, thus making the suppressor host firearm operating system more reliable, unaffected by the suppressor, and providing cleaner breathing air to the operator’s face. The patented low profile flash suppressing end cap further adds performance to the low flash baffle system.

    This absolutely is industry leading in all aspects. That zero flash is absolutely killer. You guys really knocked this out of the park! I also love your showcasing a bit of the manufacturing process into the videos! Thats so cool! Awesome video for an amazing can.

    Im still debating between getting one of these or the dual lok 7 for my 308 and 556 rifles.

      Hrt is better for NV and durability I believe thanks to the tube over design. Absorb more heat before it glows in IR and thicker walls overall. Dual lok 7 would be lighter and possibly a bit better flow due to the endcap difference. Surprisingly the HRT 762 is longer so possibly better decibel numbers. Not sure on tone.

      It depends on what you're looking for! The HRT-762 is more durable because of the tube over design, has better flash performance, and will have better sound performance at the muzzle on a 308 rifle. However, the DUAL-LOK 7 is lighter weight, reduces gas blow back, and maintains similar sound performance at the ear. Both are awesome candidates, but it depends on what you prefer 🇺🇸

      @@GriffinArmamentOfficial The industry is moving toward lower backpressure designs. I’d say the Dual Lok 7 is the better choice personally

    Someone been watching too many B Rolls of the SiCo introducing the Velos to their line up😅.. with that said, this still looks like an amazing can!!! I would love to test your dual lok system and review!!

    Why would I want to buy this when I'm already running your Explorr 30call utility mount? I mean sure I could use another 30cal can but what does it offer over my can that I'm currently running on a 9" 300blk Spear?

      It's made for different purposes I think. This is a tube over hard use can. They have also got the flash to like nil. It's truly industry leading. The explorr is a fantastic can. I got one in jail. I don't know they're the best comparison though.

    What is the sound difference profile and decibel shooting 556 through versus 30cal?

    • @GriffinArmamentOfficial
      @GriffinArmamentOfficial  6 месяцев назад +1

      It depends on the platform. Also, if you're just shooting 5.56 through the HRT-762, you'll get a similar sound profile to the HRT-556, but better flash performance. If you're strictly shooting 5.56, the HRT-556 is better tuned for that platform. However, if you also plan to shoot 7.62, the HRT-762 will handle both calibers effortlessly.
      All ratings listed on our website for both suppressors are considered hearing safe. In other words, the HRT-762 works very well, even on 5.56. You can watch our sound testing video here: ruclips.net/video/sbhe3tN4xec/видео.html

      The cans you have are good to go. Options like Scotty Cameron putters. Tiger Woods used something like a pair of putters to dominate in Golf.

      You'll get less gas from a Dual-Lok 7, but we also filmed this on a day where the Canadian wildfires were at its peak and we had plenty of cinematic smoke to use for the shoot!
