Thanks for watching! Join us next week same time for episode 2, it's a ripper! Keep the comments coming to help that reach, each comment or like makes the Kickstarter shipping boats a little faster! I mean I think that's how it works.
It's great how experiences can vary. Imagine if one group just climbs onto the top of the building then scouts the whole thing just by looking through the rips in the ceiling or something lol
As a forever GM I've been reading through this module and I'm honestly begging to find players to run this with. Loving how flexible it seems. Good session lads!
This is exactly when I needed to really get into mothership and see it in action. The maps, visuals aids, effects and artwork are top tier. I’m always so blown away by the effort put into mothership content across the internet.
I’m kinda sad that no posters here comment on the insane production quality from you guys. The visuals and audio are way better than most big d&d shows! Thanks for putting in the work 👍💪
Happy to hear Doug is enjoying the Mothership Companion App! It was a fun project to work on, and we hope to add all sorts of additional content soon! I loved all your onscreen elements for this scenario. They gave me some great ideas for how to run and present this module. Cheers!
That's rad, I'll pass on the message to Doug I think he'll enjoy that :) Thanks, I think it was the Greta Base graphic in the book that evoked the isometric and topographic style of the UI.
First time viewer and I have to say I am impressed! From the visual elements, effects, and vibe of everyone it seems great! Can't wait to get into more content !
Thank you soo much for this I'm planning to run another bug hunt as my first ever RPG session and have zero imagination, at least now I got a picture on how it feels Also incredible production my dude!
You guys did an excellent job, that was a really exciting listen. I love how you were able to use the two warden controlled players to help enhance the storytelling and build on the atmosphere. I'm looking to run my first mothership session here in a week or two and this was the perfect video for an example of how it can be played. I look forward to watching the rest
Thanks! It's great to test out Mothership with only limited players, there's also the option to have each player character control a contractor or hired npc. Enjoy watching the rest and good luck with your wardening!
Thanks Hunter! Yes although we do have music while we play it's not recorded and a better score is added in post (for example matching audio cues to the feel of a scene) and adding sound effects.
This is an amazing piece of RPG content. How much of these effects were in added in post? Did you players experience music during the session? Was Gnalti’s voice changer live? Production quality is off the charts!
Great questions magician! We play together in person at a table, I use an upright TV which displays a map with FoundryVTT, the map and graphics are more basic and unrefined but enough to be immersive. I play music through the monitor headphones depending on the tone of the scene, IE changing up to battle music when an encounter starts. After we finished playing/recording I edit the audio as a podcast. removing all filler/crosstalk etc and adding the musical score back or sound FX in seamlessly. I also add any voice effects in post. For the RUclips videos I take the podcast audio and recreate the episode in Vegas pro, making new art assets and animating it/adding effects. A lot of production goes into the whole process all round, thanks for enjoying the show!
Great episode! Love the characters and NPCs (esp. GNATLI but John always kills it playing androids). I'm really impressed with the graphics as well, the art style and presentation add a lot to the podcast

I'm running this adventure right now, I love how it's already going completely differently for you guys than for my players.

This show keeps getting better and better. Can't wait for the next drop 🫶
Thanks!

If your England or online based I might be able to play

It gets nasty
Wow! This is fantastic. Glad I found you before my boxes set arrives later this week. Really has helped. Production is amazing.
Thanks Doug!
I love the presentation here felt like I was the officer in a ship look at a status screen keep it up.

Also incredible production my dude!
Glad to give you some inspiration! Thanks
I absolutely enjoyed your video. I was nervous doing my first GM in something that wasn’t DnD and your video really helped me figure it out. ❤
Happy you enjoyed it! I hope your players enjoy it also :)

Holy crap this whole thing is so well done.
Thanks Terry!
this one is great. loving it
Thank you, NWTB, for this excellent run through of ABH! Wonderful, wonderful stuff! The music/sound fx (in post, correct?) are perfect! So good!!!

Production value of this degree deserves a million subscribers minimum.
Here's hoping!
That was really good yeah the stress quickly ramped up! :o
I liked it.
Really awesome content, guys, congratulations!
Thanks!

"My mommy always said there were no monsters, no real ones...
But there are."
Such. a well produced session! Really fun to watch.
What were you using to create the map etc? It fits the Another Bug Hunt aesthetics really well.
Thanks!, I just kind of traced over the general floorplan of the adventure map with glowy lines.
Great episode! Love the characters and NPCs (esp. GNATLI but John always kills it playing androids).

Thanks! It was fun putting it all together
how did you set up your game interface
With many many many hours in Vegas Pro 😅
5* squares that make a W.
Sorry had to.
I was actually going to put this jibe in the notes but I forgot to add it in the edit :D
Well spotted!
@@nwtbpodcast Haha, great work, enjoying it so far :)
Are those actual miniatures you used or an editing trick?
Everything digital images, just made in the style of isometric tokens.
