I hope you heal quickly from your surgery. My uterus was removed but, we left my ovaries. I was 36 y/o and my healing was so smooth. My blood loss was ridiculous and anemia is exhausting. My heart goes out to you when I hear you talking about not being able to leave the house during your period. The back pain really sucked too. I’m sending positive vibes to you!
Thank you! We are leaving my ovaries too, I should have mentioned that 😏 I'm glad to hear your recovery was smooth! Yeah, I'm definitely over the anemia and back pain 😮💨 Thank you!!
Sorry you’ve had to deal with this. I had the exact same issues as you-anemia, giant fibroids, anemia, pain for a week before and after my period, tied to the bathroom because my periods were so heavy. I had a myomectomy to try and save my uterus but had no effect. Ultimately had the hysterectomy and it was the BEST thing I could have done. I knew the periods would go away but I never anticipated how much better I would feel physically and mentally. I am excited for you because you will feel like a totally new woman, it’s the beginning of a better life for you. As for the surgery itself the drugs are great so they keep you comfortable, address any anxiety you may have and pain free. The recovery wasn’t too bad, you’ll just feel weak and tired but gradually gain your strength back. Thank you for sharing, we all do care to know about this big event in your life.
I’m sorry you’ve been having a rough patch with your health. I’ve already gone through menopause, mine hasn’t been too bad. So maybe yours won’t be either. My Aunt had a hysterectomy and went through early menopause and it wasn’t bad, my mom her twin had all the horrible symptoms that everyone talks about. So shows you don’t know how your body will react. But one thing is for sure, it won’t be as bad as what you’re dealing with now. Thank you for sharing what you’re going through. I’ll be praying for a successful surgery and fast recovery for you. ❤
Thank you for sharing all of that. Luckily, my ovaries aren't being removed (I should have mentioned that in the video, no matter what I always forget to mention something 😂), so I still shouldn't go through menopause for a bit. According to my doctor I'll still go through it earlier than I would otherwise. Yeah, I'm excited for this to be behind me. Thank you so much!
I did my liquid liner every single day of my life ever since it first released and it literally took me over 10 years to get super expert with it lol don't beat yourself up about struggling with it:) I don't think most people realize how many years it actually takes to get "expert level" at liquid eyeliner to where you never ever make mistakes and always love the results (I know this bc I literally have done liquid liner since it was invented! I was like 14 and it got me off the cake liners that is the only stuff that existed at that time besides really hard wooden pencils) lol!! I am sending you hope for healing vibes since you are now post op/ I know how hard life with anemia is, I used to struggle with it for years I hope you feel better soon
Hahaha it's the scariest part of my makeup application 😂 I can't not do it when I do my makeup though- LOL. Now I have hope that it will one day be a breeze and I won't have the chance of ruining my eyeshadow look 😅 I didn't know that was a possibility lol. So thank you! Thank you so much! So far everything is going smoothly. I just had my one week post op appointment yesterday and everything looks good according to my doctor 😅
I hope everything turns out well for you. I had a triple bypass in the last of march last year and I think I was ready to do a video because I don’t like setting still. I think I waited 2 weeks. lol I’ll say my prayers for you!! ❤
I was very young when I had my hysterectomy, only 28. I have PCOS and was getting no relief. My period would last 28 days and a complete cycle would be 3-4 months. Medically it was the best surgery I ever had. My overall health improve dramatically.
Wow, I can't imagine a 28 day period. That sounds awful! I'm glad you were able to get relief from that with a hysterectomy and that it worked out so well for you!
One more thing, unless they take out your ovaries you shouldn’t go through menopause until your 50s when it normally happens. There isn’t a need to take your ovaries if you are having the surgery for the fibroids. Ask your surgeon about that. Important to delay menopause if you can because it does affect your risk of heart disease. Estrogen is protective for that. But your doctor will let you know. I don’t know details so I definitely defer to them. Sounds like you found good doctors in Jacksonville.
Thank you for sharing your experience! You had basically all the same issues as me. So all of that was really helpful information! I am keeping my ovaries, I should have mentioned that. I knew I was forgetting something lol. That's good to know about early menopause and heart disease, I never knew that.

Thank you so much! That's great that you were back to filming two weeks later! Maybe I'll be up to filming sooner than I thought 🤞
I hope you get some relief. Good luck! Ps. Beautiful look at the end.
Thank you so much! 🤗🥰
Best of luck for the surgery! I hope Kevin and you are not too worried as the date comes closer. Unrelated, but your eyelook turned out very pretty!
Thank you so much!! I'm a little nervous but we are both excited for it to be over with 😂

@@vegemitegirl1971 So far it's going well I think, I've just been tired and sleeping a lot 😆
