    Damn lucky that advice about getting vehicles with bad motors and transmission and finding out whether or not they’re under warranty; amazing bro you’re you’re brilliant.

    I once purchased a 350$ liberty off the street with a dead transmission and a CEL. in the glovebox a receipt for a transmission rebuild was found, which occurred only 8k miles ago (but over 3 years ago). Went to the shop and got the trans rebuilt for free. A 120$ set of tires and some vacuum lines were also installed. Sold the truck for 2700 a few weeks later. Great advice for a lot of young guys starting out!

    Thanks for the great advice. I liked the tip on the rebuilds of some parts like alternators where you can buy the kit & rebuild it yourself. The state where I live has a 5 cars a year flip limit unless you have a dealership license & actual location.
    Sincerely,
    Bryan

    Good tips. Not sure if you touched junk yards. You can get some really good deals when they have their 30, 40, 50% off sales. Some of them have them on a weekly basis.

    I personally put only NAPA gold on all my vehicles both import and domestic. I believe I get 30% off on everything I buy since I told them that’s the only way I would do it when I moved to town 15 years ago. I was formally a new car dealer. The failure rate of other mass retailers parts concerns me. Years ago we had a 96 Avalon with high miles and literally a mile after I commented to my wife “what a good car this has been” the sucker totally went dead and coasted to the side of the interstate about 100 miles from home. I had the local Toyota store (where I felt that I had a relationship) quote me a price to replace the AC compressor. Note-that model Avalon does not have The ability to go to “free wheeling” when the compressor locks up. When the compressor stops it stops the engine.
    So anyway the Toyota dealer gave me a price (that I probably could’ve put a new furnace in my house for) and I then went to my independent shop who I prefer to use anyway and we ordered “NAPA gold”and the box /part/ manufacturer was the SAME box /part /manufacture that Toyota had on their parts counter for me when I was there. That’s why I like Napa Gold.

    Hello from Phoenix AZ ! Your videos are awesome bro. I just got my dealer license and was wondering what auctions are the best?

    • @LuckyLopez777
      @LuckyLopez777  3 года назад +1

      Unfortunately there’s no such thing is the best auction it depends in every market and what kind of cars are looking for I usually tell everybody to sign up for every type of auction in your area I go to Phoenix all the time there’s a lot of public auctions that I buy really cheap cars from with lower fees but definitely sign up with the bigger auctions Manhime and Adesa

    What about parts for Bentleys and other luxury cars? My two batteries in a 2013 Bentley, main and auxiliary, are not fully charging. Dealer wants $1350 to replace two batteries and reprogram car computer. There has to be another option.

    • @LuckyLopez777
      @LuckyLopez777  3 года назад +2

      I would call interstate battery and see what battery size they are and then get a replacement and not all cars have to be reset after you change the battery I would replace them first and then see if your car needs to be reset because of low voltage

      I have had a wholesale account with interstate for years. They deliver them on their route 50 miles to my address. The other thing is always tell interstate what you’re doing and see what alternatives they may have. They may have return batteries at discount as well as Blem’s. For Example,Each time they go in and talk an Exide inventory stocking mechanical shop into switching over to interstate they buy the new Exide inventory from the mechanic and pull the stickers and sell new batteries at a discount with minimum warranty. As lucky says, smash the like button if I said it correctly!

      Harvey Brothers in GALESBURG, il. They probably don’t have a website but they have been in business since World War II rebuilding electrical for all sorts and sizes of vehicles. Alternators, starters generators, grain bin motors, car wash vacuum motors. Every time I go in there it’s amazing what they have laying around the lobby waiting to be picked up. It’s one of those places were you say the Name for pick up, then they dive their hand into a pile and Pulls yours out.
