It makes sense for hospitals where people can’t help themselves. Or in the case of someone with health problems who live at home. Nurses would approve.
@@JMian "AI means learning on its own and hence will improve eventually" so it will learn to kill humans, why would it serve like slave, we already do that :)
I think we ought not to be too critical of this machine. It does have potential to improve lives. We mustn't be too quick to forget that there are people who may not be able to clean themselves well, easily; like the elderly or the differently abled. For them, this can be empowering.
This is really helpful for 100% handicap person. Would really refresh them. I have a handicap son & would be helpful to bathe him As it consumes less time.
I lived in Japan for many years and not surprised at all how fast this AI technology has been implemented in household devices. P.S. Sanyo is NOT the former name of Panasonic, a company I worked for in Japan in the 1990s when it was still Matsushita Electric Corporation known today as Panasonic Corporation. Sanyo is and has always been a different company just like Sony and Toshiba.
this is very good for people residing in very very cold climates . . . due to the severe cold environment people living there don't bathe for days on end, but not bcos they're unhygienic . . . for e.g. the Arctic region, Siberia & Iceland . . . even Alaska & Northern Canada for that matter . . .
AI Wash uses advanced sensing to detect the weight and softness of the fabric and continually monitors the level of soiling. It then intelligently optimizes the water, detergent and soaking, rinsing and spinning times.
I think it is pretty cool Besides, this can also be environment friendly.. use just the right amount of water.. (no wastage) and probably have a module to recycle used water and use the salvaged water for sustainable showering/bathing/washing.. (maybe the recycle part is not included, but I bet it won't be long before that is.. after all, in Space every drop of trappable moisture is captured and recycled, including that in human waste)
it is for the disabled and elderly who have trouble bathing. Japanese have old population it makes complete sense there, however it is negatively portrayed in this report due to narrowmindedness.
Headlines: - Man boils to death in AI Human washing machine during bath - 6 year old drowns while taking a bath in AI human washing machine - AI human washing machine malfunctions locks in 52 year old man inside for over 7 hours causing his inevitable death

My grandma’s choice of some words would have been enough to get this inventor out of his bed and take a cold shower! No need for this million dollar tech invention! 😅

An AI washing machine uses artificial intelligence to automatically adjust wash cycles based on the type and weight of fabric in the load, optimizing water usage, detergent amount, and wash time to ensure a thorough clean while protecting delicate clothes
This can be a good product if implemented correctly. Cause unlike shoes, AI can be used to monitor the waterflow as well as the temperature. So mocking a new product is easy, but I don't think it should be done by a news channel.

sure but someone will lose their job for it.
@@Juan-ffsstfu It's better to not have such jobs because it will be a huge cost burden for the individual with disability.

There is spot on my back whenever I bathe I feel I cannot reach to properly clean. I would appreciate this device.😊😊

Trust me these Ai technology will shut down neuro plasticity and turn us into a robot .
It's also useful in smaller apartment units IE the bathing pod takes up less space then a shower and/or bathtub. Your bathrooms will go extinct.
My dad has Parkinson’s, this would be great and also the ppl in hospitals or care home this can replace a care taker from doing the work
I need one for brushing my teeth not for shower though, AI Shower machine is very much useful in hospitals
