Lloyd Glick 96 years old World War II veteran and served on the Battleship USS North Carolina.

Lloyd Glick served on the Battleship USS North Carolina during the Battles in the Pacific Ocean, they were bloody and pivotal for our defeat over the Imperial Japanese Navy after the December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. He serves as a Docent on the Battleship USS Iowa in the Port of Las Angeles. He is the only person who has served on a Battleship in World War II that is able to talk with young people and even 73 years old like me to talk about life on a Battleship in World War II. I have know him for 44 plus years and he is an inspiration, a true gentleman and one of the few remaining heroes of World War II. If you know anyone like him, make sure you thank them for their service and get to know them better. Lloyd has shared dozens of books with me about WW II and I'm a better person for knowing him.
