Gives me chills every time the helmet unfolds and lights up as it activates.
This was and still is one of my favorite things of this game, it's really damn well done.

Others are simply found and bought (unless DLC, then just bought)

I love issacs suits but seriously they’re basically all the same molds. Changing the colour doesn’t make it any more unique.

It sucks that there's actually only 4 types of suits excluding the hacker suit dlc. All of them are the same engineering, security, vintage, or advanced suits in different furnishes.

With the 4 types of suits you get and the numours re-skins of them especially the security suit...you're bound to find something in you're colour that will satisfy unless very picky...I'm quite more than content...I wish they put most or more of the security suit type of model in DS 3 cause I loved how many versions there were in the 2nd.

@@theonemasterwarhero 100% agree, security suit is so underrated that it hurts. The helmet is the coolest part to be honest, the armor is also nice looking, and it looks like a very proper and protective suit
I always hated that there were really just four types of suits that had a multitude of recolors. Would've been nice if each individual suit had its own unique shapes and designs instead of just different colors and patterns.

I don't have much of a problem with recolors (there are like 5 different designs) as long as they actually look different, i think there's like 7 of those military-colored security suit.

Unpopular opinion but the Vintage suit is just so awesome to me. I love the 70's cosmonaut look, it looks so distinct and unique.
The other suits are fine but they all kinda blend together with their badass space soldier look.
Edit : out of al of the suits, the vintage one fits the setting the most too. It's been a while since Isaac looked the part as an engineer.

They're my favorite too. Love the little details like the light rusting to the metal, the bulky thrusters and the external air tank.

Tbh I feel like the vintage suit looks like the big daddies from bioshock more than anything.
My favorite suits:
Zealot Suit - Excellent color scheme and patterning
Hacker Suit - For it's uniqueness
Elite Engineering Suit - For the armor and health bonuses, and that sweet gold coloring
Hazard Suit - For whatever reason I've always had a fondness for this suit
I really loved the soldier suit .
(Mainly because of the camouflage)
I think the animations for the suits like the Engineering Suit are the best ones, the ones where the suit's right arm is a rib of metal pieces. Isaac looks the most satisfied in those.
I mean, he is an engineer after all...
@@vincentmartineau2006 I got a notification about this. It's nice to see this again, I liked Dead Space 2 a lot. Anyways, I didn't notice how obvious that sounded when I wrote "Engineering Suit". But ya, I think I got into animation w/ like Blender for example around this time. And like I just looked at the suit anims. a lot while playing the game, and I wanted to write a comment about them. Or maybe it's just I played this a lot, and I started noticing details like this. I liked this game a lot, from doing Hardcore to playing Multiplayer online. Hope you enjoyed it too.

@@DragonautX My bad my guy, I actually started it when I commented as I was interested in all the suits. I decided to play it after beating DS, which I got on Game pass because I was bored and needed something to do. I learned about it because of a review on the game, which I thought "thats cool" and went on my way, I saw it on Game Pass and got it because it looked awesome.
11:58 think that is one of the more "appropriate" suits in the game because it looks like something you'd find on the ship and had blood on it

Hacker is probably my favorite. To me, it just sorta adds to the survival aspect of the game. Your wearing basically just regular clothes with little bits of armor that could have been just scavenged. Plus, I just think it looks cool.

I love the music and the way Isaac gets out of the pod looking all mean while the suit runs checks of the systems
I never get tired of watching this. The music's so epic, I still miss Dead Space 4.

I like the engineering suit, that's the symbol of Isaac Clarke.
Imagine how awesome it would be if you could start out your day like that. Get out of the shower, get dressed and before you go put out on a suit that gives a huge advantage in combat.

I think that the real better suit is the Level 6 Suit in Dead Space 1, I feel that even with the awesome aspect of the new ones, the Level 6 Suit was part of the escence of Dead Space, because somehow, that was part of the game, all your weapons, where tools, and your defense was a suit that was never made to fight a Necromorf. Now everything is made for warfare, not for enginering. But I still want to play the damn game.

All the games in the Dead Space series should be brought to the 8th-generation consoles in one package and the games would be featured in chronological order.
The chronological order should be:
1. Dead Space: Extraction
2. Dead Space
3. Dead Space (mobile)
4. Dead Space: Ignition
5. Dead Space 2
6. Dead Space 3
The enhancements should be:
-native 1080p
-60fps
-enhanced audio
-all the DLC for all the games
-all the gameplay enhancements of Dead Space 3 are shared between all the games
-all suits and weapons are shared between all games
-and etc

They used the design for the hacker suit as the base for his normal clothes in dead space 3, it’s just a shame you never get to have the helmet unfold In 3 it would have been a great callback to 2

the advanced and shockpoint suits are my favorite, purely for the helmet.

You're missing the Elite Advanced Suit. It's located at the top of a long engineering elevator where you are attacked by a bunch of necromorphs. I think it's a little bit before getting to the drilling rig.

My personal favorites are the Vintage Suit (+variations), Hacker Suit and the Security Suit.
Advanced suits have the coolest helmets. The suit themselves look all too sleek as if they are sneak suits.
I really hope Dead space and virsscal games returns with a bang and EA dies forever to never return ever again.

Thank goodness, the XBOX ONE will give us backwards compatibility later this year. I would love to play the Dead Space trilogy again and finally give Dead Space: Ignition a try.

One thing that I'd really like to see though, is that we get to see the suits in action worn by other NPCs in the game. Dead Space 1 nailed that pretty well with the Level 6 suit, giving us the feels that these suits aren't made specifically for Isaac but other people can wear (As well as die in it) as well.

It depends on the difficulty, if you started the load on easy, you will only recieve that suit, if you play on casual you will recieve Another, but not if you switch down to easy. The harder you play, the better stuff you'll get.
Advanced Elite Suit?
Kauan Christian there's a glitch in the game where you can't have the hacker suit and the elite advanced suit in your safe at the same time, it will delete one of you try and you'll have to refind the schematic and he clearly wasn't in chapter 11 so that's probably why he couldn't show it, the same glitch is on the zealot and security suit, that's why he didn't have the security suit in his safe already.
