As much as I hate the maple leafs, I don’t think ‘20 belongs in worst. It’s just different, it isn’t bad. Like compare that to the 23 with zegras and nurse. Matthews is a full blown NHL star, you can see his face, it’s got some neat color contrast. It’s leaps and bounds better than the toews cup cover, or subban. And like. Palm trees? No pads? No ice? What is this, a PacSun ad?

NHL 23 has the most boring one it isnt ugly or anything its just boring usually we have cool backgrounds and some action going on in the cover like holding a cup or a celebration or something but this one its just 2 players standing looking at a camara in front of some palm trees.. i would be fine if there were some action going on on the cover i get they were trying something new but this just aint it Like bro seriously NHL 23s cover is a picture youd take on vacation if you visit the south for the 1st time
2001 was my very first. Then I got 14. Then 17. Think I got 18, with McDavid. And then 22. As much as I don’t want to pay $60 for what is virtually the same game, and with the literal worst cover in EANHL history, i feel compelled to get nhl 23 just because of how much better/current the red wings roster will be in that game. It’s such a jump from last year, you can’t even fake it in 22. The trades yzerman actually made in real life were deemed unacceptable by the nhl 22 standard trade difficulty. It’s nuts.
