The constrast in the voices!! Who ever picked these girls knew what they were doing. 2 of the members have head voices but are hella stable and sugary but they pierce through the song. 2 of them sing with the chest and are very grounded and strong and contrast to the other members with their deep smokey voices. The main vocalist has a very ample voice register that ties the group together because she goes from head voice to chest very easly. She soars in the song. Also they were lucky because the girls are not just musically gifted, they are very beautiful and they have the gift of movement.

These girls are singers and dancers just a bit more than they are idols.. I love that. + hocus pocus is one of my favorite kpop songs period.
And what i was surprised about this group is ALL of them can really sing. Because not all kpop groups have all members who can sing properly (mostly at least there is / are 1-2 members who can't sing well, even big groups). 1 year old group have this such a high quality in music and talent. The styling is SO elegant! We don’t see much elegant concepts these days, everyone adding a bit of street style to appear more youthful and it’s sometimes ends up being a bit tacky. But this is both sophisticated and fierce, very feminine in the best way possible.

Tbh if these girls came from a bigger company they easily would’ve gotten the fame. Their vocals sound natural and not forced (to me at least) and their songs sound unique and not overdone. Tbh if these girls came from a bigger company they easily would’ve gotten the fame. Their vocals sound natural and not forced (to me at least) and their songs sound unique and not overdone. I’m sure that over time they’ll get the fame and recognition which they deserve :)

To be honest, the off notes are difficult to enjoy for me, because it sounds.. off. But I'm working on it since I love BVNDIT. They really made a very bold choice by putting so many off notes in the song. I want to get into the producer's mind to enjoy the song. It's interesting, unique as you say.
