"He's not lame at all, he's shy and he had a stroke." "Aw, he's all beat up." "Well, you know, it was a pretty severe stroke. Yeah, actually, it burned his suit." Haha that was great !
So you don't want to check IMDb because it doesn't reflect how the show is now, and you don't want to take 30 seconds to watch the credits because it does reflect how the show is now. Fantastic.
JRT was never the LLS announcer. He first did impressions in sketches. Then when Geoff was created, he came in to prerecord the original catchphrases, then came on once every couple weeks to do the voice live, and then it became full-time. Shadoe Stevens has been the announcer almost since the show began.
Yeah. Geoff was initially imitating the Dalaks from Dr. Who. Later George Takai ("Mr. Sulu" on the original Star Trek) recorded some repeatable lines for Geoff to use, then Craig's original announcer came back after an absence and took over as Geoff's LIVE voice, "fleshing out" Geoff's character and making him a lovable comedy superstar.
It could be that Shadow Stevens took over the announcer duties after Josh Robert Thompson took over as the voice of Geoff. That would make sense, but I don't know that for sure cuz that particular idea was not covered in a history of the show I saw somewhere a year or so ago. (I don't remember for sure where I saw that history now, but I think it was one episode of the same show when Craig talked about the show's history a bit and showed a clip from the first show, but I'm not 100 % sure now.)
I don't know who Shadow Stevens is, unless SS is an earlier announcer for Craig (before Josh Robert Thompson) that I don't know about. I was talking about George Takai doing a pre-recorded voice for Geoff for awhile in the earlier days of Geoff's existence. Back in those days, Geoff's one moveable hand kept falling apart or even falling off, providing Craig and his audiences with even more initial laughs. Eventually they got his hand secured more firmly. I wish they'd get his other hand moving.
quote: Geoff's new voice is horrible. Old voice= robot voice, old newer voice = Josh Robert Thompson prerecorded. Geoff's new voice = Josh Robert Thompson. Your comment was mistyped.
I will eventually, if you insist, as if it makes any difference to know current credits with this discussion of a long-gone past episode, but it's still a pretty low priority for me cuz I'm just really busy with other things in my life at the moment. I had no idea this discussion would become so involved and time consuming.
All the other comments were like when Jesus was walking around.... and google recommends this to me NOW? WTH? Google knows I feel the relationship with Craig and Kristen is the best in Entertainment history. ... oh well, better late than never. (Late..., forgive the pun)
That's not what Ferguson himself said on the historical show I saw, which is where I got the info I've been posting, But since he kids about everything, maybe he was kidding then and I wrongly perceived that info to be truth. (Or maybe I'm just going nuts. Please donate to "Dan's Nuts" foundation to keep me off the streets.)
The IMBD doesn't always have full or accurate credits on everything, as it's a constantly evolving site, although a great site for sure. And Craig's 'history' show I've been referring to has come and gone, and those would have been the most relevant credits to watch. Credits on current shows would just reflect whose working on the show now and we've been talking about past shows. It's not a big deal in the long run anyway. Cuz everyone working on that show, then and now, is great.
Every single one of their interviews together are hilarious.
My favourite kind of bell.
right, taco bell doesn't even stand a chance
"I was born to be a sidekick"
**Princess Anna**
she's so charming and easy to talk to i wish i was like that lol

"I have more than eight catch phrases" ahha
She jumped at 0:22. lol.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"He's not lame at all, he's shy and he had a stroke."
"Aw, he's all beat up."
"Well, you know, it was a pretty severe stroke. Yeah, actually, it burned his suit."
Haha that was great !
she is so cute.
Super cute and sexy 😍😍😍

bluestate69 me too!!
I miss this show :(
so much chemistry between the two
This girl is the best ... I'd love to see her co-hosting on Craig's show. Smart, quick witted, drop dead gorgeous ... I wish my vote counted.
Well she is Smart, quick witted, That is the thing that would make Craig still happening. But now its over. She would have been great hosting it!
I miss this
And this is why she is my favorite Actress.
She is easily the smartest guest he's had and also the most genuinely funny.
"ha-ha-ha. you're the man, craig"
5:10 Craig: Yeah, ha....wh-wh-whu? 😆
Lincoln is gunna look back at these and be like "wow my mom was insane..." hahaha i love Kristen!
Love the new Geoff bits and voice, Craig was the old "catch phrases"
So you don't want to check IMDb because it doesn't reflect how the show is now, and you don't want to take 30 seconds to watch the credits because it does reflect how the show is now. Fantastic.
oh young geoff, you have so much growing to do...
. . . i adore this woman. She literally just made fart jokes and it was still funny lmfao

Kristen is awesome, hope she comes back soon, her and Geof have a great rivalry
Geoff has come a looooong way! This is too funny
Ha-ha-ha, your Batman cried.
pause and hold left arrow key.
Geoff was bland without +joshrobertthompson! Lol, and he's sitting!
I love how I hear Kristen talk about farting, peeing and bowel movements, and I still love her

God, I love this girl.
"Kristen Bell, you well-scrubbed -- rube!"
Her laugh is so funny, also, she won that battle.
oh gosh! her way of laughing at 02:12... Kristen please! marry me!!

haha its a midget with fabulous pants XD omg that bit gets me every time XD
Never heard of small wonder . My first robot experience was on buck Rodgers.
In my opinion, she’s one of the 10 most beautiful women in the world.
Why does he sound like a Dalek? Was this before Josh started voicing him?
ya
***** It was Craig
Check IMDb, then. Or stay for the credits after the show.
She just made a fart joke!! I'm in love!
geoff has come such a long way
Geoff's first show!
him and her must be really good friends cuz she went to france with him this week
I thought Josh Robert Thompson was the only live voice for GP? I don't know if Shadoe Stevens ever did the live voice for Geoff?
How cool is she..

LOL
Ha ha ha You're the man, Craig.
To be honest, I googled "Cute with robot"... That was not the result I was expecting.
@DukeDanceum you would be suprised how many people did not did those aswell.
Shadoe Stevens is still the LLS's announcer. I don't think he's ever done Geoff's voice, though.
Craig looks like Tony Montana from Scarface! lol
Geoff was obnoxious back then. I remember thinking"oh crap, I cant put up with that every show" lol
All the other comments were like when Jesus was walking around.... and google recommends this to me NOW? WTH? Google knows I feel the relationship with Craig and Kristen is the best in Entertainment history. ... oh well, better late than never. (Late..., forgive the pun)
This show was funny!
What is it that Geoff keeps saying?
I hear "Yah, haw haw, that man, fried!" And I know that's not right.
Seven years late with the answer, but he's saying "Ha ha ha, you're the man Craig!"
Why don't we get a sloth and see how perfect she is. hahaha
So this is how Geoff stare
geoff's old voice was recorded by Craig Ferguson.
He was married in 2008, he doesn't love her, he loves his wife.
Kristen should be Craig's sidekick if he ever takes over Letterman's show.
Great 👖
@DukeDanceum I think she meant illegal drugs. Or strong drugs. Alcohol and coffee aren't drugs.
ah ah ah you're the man craig
I KNOWWW
@LastoProduction
Yah, love her laugh!
@thefungarian he is saying, "ha ha ha you're the man Craig."
I get gassy on planes too.
LMAO!

philosophical- or perhaps techno-anatomical question : can a robot skeleton, play mouth organ on his glittery balls ?
Ok, I totally love Kristin Bell! She is real... and I'm lucky my GF kind looks like her.
@superjail1000 I think it was actually Craigs voice. Lol.
he looks like al pacino
@DarkRiver756 LOL i love all of craigs accents, just not a robot british skeleton lol
woah....is that how geoff used to sound?
what does geoff say? "ha ha ha you're the what? Craig"
how the hell did Dax Shepard pull her
What is Geoff saying?
*WHAT THE HELL, MAN? ... BALLS!*
poor dax, i mean lucky dax lol
-4.25-
we have to keep believing that they don't
Is the chemistry real?
