I don’t really care for fabric anymore, I’ve just been doing it for 22 years & quite honestly am just burnt out and see so much bad versions of it that it’s hard for me to get excited about it. Thank goodness for people like Mizuki who are breathing new life and possibilities into this discipline. This act made me so happy & she makes something as simple as a slack drop look fresh and interesting. I love it. Thank you for being so generous and sharing this whole act in it’s entirety. This is really special and very kind of you. 🐼🏆👍🏼♥️
I mean you're right but I think the less skilled performances are usually recreational acrobats or people who work for a less famous show. A lot of the mediocre aerial artists we see putting videos on yt might not be amazing or revolutionary. But if they're working for some unknown circus with no prestige or just doing it for fun I wouldn't expect them to be as good as a cirque du soliel performer. I personally like watching people who aren't that good try their best and have fun with their performance. Not everyone can be a master of their craft, capable of making original choreography and the most risky moves. I do however understand that watching people do similar routines can get boring and uninspired. It's obviously much more impressive to see people who are effortless and make dangerous moves look graceful and easy, but I like seeing all levels have their time to shine.

I saw this act live, sadly I think aerial silk is a "common act" in Cirque industry but this version totally blew me away. Mizuki really turn this art to a next level, she did figure I had never saw, it was fantastic. Bravo !

It took me two weeks to learn how to climb a silk and I’ve been doing it for about 3 to 4 months and I still probably can’t achieve this yet
