The transliteration of the dhikr mentioned:
The Prophet (ﷺ) "Whoever gets up at night and says: -- 'La ilaha il-lallah Wahdahu la Sharika lahu Lahu-lmulk, waLahu-l-hamd wahuwa 'ala kullishai'in Qadir. Al hamdu lil-lahi wa subhanal-lahi wa la-ilaha il-lal-lah wa-l-lahu akbar wa la hawla Wala Quwata il-la-bil-lah.' (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. He is the Only One and has no partners . For Him is the Kingdom and all the praises are due for Him. He is Omnipotent. All the praises are for Allah. All the glories are for Allah. And none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, And Allah is Great And there is neither Might nor Power Except with Allah). And then says: -- Allahumma, Ighfir li (O Allah! Forgive me). Or invokes (Allah), he will be responded to and if he performs ablution (and prays), his prayer will be accepted."
This was narrated by Al Bukhari.

Do you only do this when you randomly wake up at night without intending to (like waking up because of thirst) or can you also say it when you wake up intentionally (with the intention of doing this Dua, or waking up for Tahajjud, work etc - i.e. with an alarm clock)?
Jazak Allahu khayran for your efforts to spread correct knowledge of the Deen. May Allah reward you immensely for it.

Ibn Hajar in Fath Ul Bari mentions the different opinions regarding the meaning of the word تعار. He mentions that some say it simply means to wake up, while others say it means to wake up with a sound (wake up saying something). None of the definitions I am aware of mention that it is a condition that this “waking up” must be random or unintentional, so it is possible that you can set an alarm. But of course, I am not a scholar or someone who possesses enough knowledge of the deen, so Allah knows best. Baarak Allahu feekum.

the noble, beloved shaykh said in min 4:00 that: Allah keeps something evil from you that is GREATER than what you asked Him for
But I found in this hadith: *There is no Muslim who calls upon Allaah with words in which there is no sin or severing of family ties but Allaah will give him one of three things: either He will answer his prayer soon, or He will store it up for him in the Hereafter, or He will remove something bad from him that is ***_EQUIVALENT_* to what he is asking for*
Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 3573; classed as saheeh
    and now I am confused

Set an alarm - to my knowledge, I don't think it has to be sudden or random.

Is it a must to do the whudu part of the process, i mean, could you leave that part and just wake up in the middle of the night and read the dhikr? (As a menstruating women's whudu isn't accepted as far as i'm aware).
    Pls reply
May Allah increase you in your reward.

Not sure but you can make dua in other accepted times even when menstruating
      like between adhaan and iqama

      Masha' Allah sister!
      Here is the hadith:
During the Farewell Hajj (pilgrimage) ‘Aa’ishah got her menses and
*started to cry.* The Messenger of Allah, (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered upon her and saw her crying and asked: *“Why are you crying? Did you get your menses?”*
      ‘Aa’ishah said: “Yes.”
He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: *“This is something which Allah has decreed upon women. Do what a pilgrim does except for Tawaaf [circumambulating the Ka’bah].”*
After she finished her menses and completed Hajj, she wanted to make
up for the ‘Umrah (minor pilgrimage), that was interrupted by her menses,
so he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), commanded (her brother) ‘Abdur-Rahmaan to take her to the area of Tan’eem to assume Ihraam and then take
her to perform the make-up ‘Umrah.
      Reported by Al-Bukhaari (316) and Muslim 1211)
The love and kindness of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) were so great!
This hadith touched me because I got my menses at a young age like Aisha, I was 9 and a half.
So when it was the last 10 days of Ramadan or Eid I would wish that my menses wont come and one time, it came to me on the blessed first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah (the last month of the year)
And I started crying so so hard but no one comforted me the way the Prophet comforted Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her)
Indeed it is Allah's decree and we should accept it

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Every one of you will have his supplications answered, as long as he is not impatient and says: I have supplicated but I was not answered.”
In another narration, the Prophet said, “The servant will continue to have his supplications answered as long as he does not ask for sin or cutting family ties and he is not impatient.” They said, “O Messenger of Allah, what is its impatience?” The Prophet said, “He says: I have supplicated again and again, but I have not seen an answer. He becomes frustrated with that and gives up supplicating.”

Brother i would advise you to seek ALLAH'S(SWT) forgiveness with sincere tawbah and be patient and sincere in your dua and do not leave of supplication ever. Always praise ALLAH regardlesss of the conditions.
Ibn Abbas reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The first to be called to Paradise are those who always praised Allah in times of ease and adversity.”
In another narration, the Prophet said, “Those who praised Allah in every situation.”
      Source: al-Mu’jam al-Kabīr 12345
Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Suyuti
This also shows that their is benefit in the believer's affairs regardless of the situation. In another narration it is also said,
Suhayb reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Wondrous is the affair of a believer, as there is good for him in every matter; this is not the case for anyone but a believer. If he experiences pleasure, he thanks Allah and it is good for him. If he experiences harm, he shows patience and it is good for him.”
      Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2999
Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Muslim
Also trials are a means of expiation of sins.
Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Nothing afflicts a Muslim of hardship, nor illness, nor anxiety, nor sorrow, nor harm, nor distress, nor even the pricking of a thorn, but that Allah will expiate his sins by it.”

@Abdullah Ibraheem So know it is better to keep making dua and be patient, and do not speak about ALLAH(SWT) except in the best way! And in every outcome as mentioned in above hadiths their is tremendous good in it INSHAALLAH!
