I enjoyed your reminiscing of college classes. I was a freshman 33.5 years ago, state college. My bff group in both majors(Music Education, English 2ndary Education) were vastly different, but we always got in trouble. We ended up wrongly accused of unsensitivity, and a rottin article mentioned us in the school paper, The Anchor. It brought it all back listening to you two. 😅
I needed to hear that having a college degree that was not in use is Okay. ❤ I have a chronic illness(dystonia), and was unceremoniously told to "go home", because I was not up to the school's teaching standards for correction turnaround. I didn't return. I miss the job, miss the teenagers, miss the joy of teaching, but don't miss administration, union, school committee, or Department of Education nonsense. I have always wished I could still use my degree... until I heard this podcast. 😊 Thank you.
So many Young Adult Fiction writing has been turned into movies or TV series. I loved hearing about what Sasha was reading. I read pretty much anything, and will fling a book away if I can see where the book is heading and I don't like the author's chioce.

Love this podcast! The Witcher is series of books and a videogame.
So the Witcher shows it’s a video game and I’m trying to get into it. A great romance/ fantasy and so many books. It’s called The Black Dagger Brotherhood by J. R. Ward. I would recommend them a thousand percent!! Loving the podcast and so happy you’re doing it!

So I studied mued in college and I can relate to the sight reading videos SOOOOO MUCH (I've played piano since I was 4 but my instrument major in college was French horn bc I wanted to be different 😜✌️) I can also totally relate to being stuck in a practice room and just feeling lonely. Since I had taken private music lessons from the age of 4-5, once I graduated with my degree I literally took a solid year off of any sort of practice. I just would play what I wanted to play when I wanted to play it. Now I've found my own joy in it instead of being in private lessons once a week being told what to play.

ADHD Stands for attention deficient hyperfocation disorder and ADD stands for attention deficient disorder there related but technically not the same ADD is mainly where you can’t focus what’s so ever or can’t keep thought for not even longer than 2 minutes if you don’t do it it’ll just go away and it’s not likely you’ll get it back ADHD is a kind on and off it’s either you can only pay attention to one thing at a time and I mean you are FOCUSED ON IT this is the hyperfication part and then theres when you can focus on anything your just lost in you though this is the attention deficit part 8:05 I love you guys so much so I don’t want you to get called out if some people don’t agree with what you guys say

The main reason I didn't go to college was because I don't know what i want to do with my life, and I didn't want to spend all that MONEY and time on something I wouldn't use. No hate to anyone who's gone to college and done this, just saying that wasn't the path for me.
This is the exact reason I didn’t go to college and even now that I’m 24 I still don’t want to go because I haven’t figured out what I want to do at all as well as not wanting to spend the money to go when I had no clue what I wanted to do.
