    its just the rocket launcher but you dont need to pick it up twice i hate when streamers/youtubers call something broken when we have weapons that do the same because it makes things get overly nerfed due to the over hype click bait videos

      I was thinking the same thing. Two anti tanks do the same damn thing to blue titans and one anti tank can kill a charger in one hit too.

      @TheGreatJ the laser is better for general use the rocket is better for getting priority kills faster for example you could call in you rockets use 1 keep one get to the next point you need it call in 2 more you now have 3 shots you can do in a row, the laser you get one shot but a charge up and a cool down but never runs out of ammo great for general use kinda sucks when there's 3 or 5 heavy targets you need down but you can't get a shot off in time

      @Durrtyboy yeah seeing the other comments I actually revised my thoughts too.
      The fact that yoy have the longer cool down time in-between also and the fact that the quasar overall has like a 6 minute window in between new deployments. So if you go down and lose yoyr cannon it's much worse than if you die with the Rocket launcher

      @@TheGreatJ cause your likely to die and lose it anyways when playing with randoms. With the anti tank you can call it in more often cause of the short cooldown so you don’t have to worry about picking it back up if you die potentially dying again in the process if your over run by enemies. Plus there is no charge time meaning you don’t have to time your shots as good making it better for newer players to actually use successfully. Overall both are good but it’s not broken by any means.

    4-5 seconds charge time is more than a "couple" which is a word meaning 2.
    A Cool down of 6-7 seconds seconds is more than a "couple" because it's still a word meaning TWO.

      You might want to pursue the dictionary, friend. You are correct; "couple" was the wrong word to use here as there is too much ambiguity with it's definitions. "Few" would have been a far more appropriate word choice here. Best would have been stating the actual charge time in seconds but most of these CC's can't be bothered to report stuff accurately--let alone precisely.

      This detail is very important too.
      I was watching a friend of mine using this against bots and twice in a row he caught a stray bullet while charging the cannon, causing the shots to go wide.
      IMO that's a very good reason not to use this against bots.

    ***it does not one-shot everything you're a complete liar. The weapon (like all others) requires you to hit the correct damage locations on enemies in order for you to get value out of it. If you don't, you have to wait for the cooldown which is a matter of life and death in higher difficulties. The Quasar Cannon is pretty well-balanced on release although a small nerf to its damage or cooldown is expected. ****This doesn't mean the EAT/Recoilless/Autocannon/Railgun are useless now, you can still use them to great effect. Play how you want to.

      Nah bro they most certainly are useless now lmfao there’s literally no reason to not bring it over each of the weapons you named. They’re 100% gona nerf it and increase the time between shots/slightly being the damage down just like the rail gun cuz they don’t want everyone running the same load out every single mission. It has no reload animation, unlimited ammo, takes down all big bots/tanks/drop ships with ease, can snipe from afar way more accurately, recharges between shots extremely fast, and has a quick charge up to fire. If you bring something else over it that’s gotta be personal preference because it’s a fact that it’s better then the weapons you named. Also the cooldown hardly makes it life or death if you miss, it’s like 5 seconds between shots. I’ve had no problems playing helldive bot missions with it. Maybe you’re standing in the open trying to shoot stuff and that’s why you think the charge is so long. I hide behind a rock or something and charge halfway then peek and blast them when needed, works like a charm

      @@nickfrison9716 I disagree. 2 people with EATs is better than 1 person with a QC as you can have higher instantaneous dps. The EAT is also has the shortest cooldown in the game, meaning, when you inevitably die you can reasonably wait to call in a new one. Secondly, "it has no reload animation" is more or less a mute point considering it has a cooldown AND a charge up time, while the recoilless, railgun, and autocannon have reloads, they fire instantly and that's where their value lies. Additionally, light armor weapons such as the autocannon increase in value the more they match their armor equals. Using a QC to take out 3 Stalkers will take upwards of 20 seconds, but with an autocannon it will take less than 5 seconds. Also, the charge up time to fire is incredibly long compared to all other weapons in the game, and that's an objective fact. Finally, when is missing a shot "not a matter of life or death"? I understand how you use the QC, it's basically a HALO spartan laser, but if you miss out in the open-*you're still out in the open*.

      ​@@nickfrison9716I'm still gonna use my MG-43 and EAT-17.
      Sure the quasar is "better" since it has infinite ammo.
      But the downtime between shots is huge.
      With the EAT-17 you can use another support weapons to fill a different role (in my case MG-43 to mow the lighter enemies). When having the quasar canon means you can't really do anything other than target heavy armor.

      The Quasar weapon has a four-second charge time without the ability to pre-charge or hold a maximum charge for the ideal shot. This, coupled with a distortion effect in first-person view, can significantly disrupt your aim, especially when targeting distant or small objects. All these previous factors will absolutely reduce your effective rate of fire on target. If the target dies, moves out of sight, gets too close, or turns away leaving no weak spots available, you're left with the missed opportunity that another AT weapons would have nailed. Explosion, smoke, or haze obscuring vision on top of the annoying distortion effect? Tough tiddies and try firing again. Now the shot is followed by a ten second cool down time and 4 second charge up time. You can shoot this thing 4 times a minute under perfect conditions, but it has no bullet drop and most don't understand how the windage sights work on the EAT/RR. It has unlimited ammo, doesn't take up a backpack slot, and you can move and change weapons while "reloading." At extraction or a stationary fight, you can call another in and cycle fire with a ~3 second cool down between them. The Quasar is the slow and steady weapon choice as it is only middle of the road in the one minute sustained fire and the 15 second burst fire comparisons. Lets use 2 rounds per 30 seconds as that simplifies the comparisons.
      Recoilless has a 5.56 reload time (1.4 second buddy reload) but you are stationary and it takes up a backpack slot AND limited ammo. Two Titans and three Chargers? You COULD get off 6 rounds in 30 seconds under the right non-buddy conditions before praying for ammo or resupply. At some point though, you're dying due to the stationary reload or being out of ammo when you need it. On the plus side, there's no distortion effect and its point and click. In a coordinated team, two people running the RR is a better choice than two running the Quasar as that buddy reload is fucking clutch.
      EAT is a no-charge-up-time point-and-click weapon firing 1 round per 30 seconds. For obvious reasons, that fire rate isn't the practical use case (three rounds within well within 10 seconds is not uncommon). You can spam it on the battlefield to let you or your mates use it in a pinch with the 60 second cooldown, or run another support weapon if you want, take a backpack, crash your game by calling 60 of these and leaving them unused on the map. Or fucking enjoy life with this flexible sucker as it is the most forgiving of taking chances and epically failing at success. Two people running EATs has more burst potential than two with Quasars.
      The AT choices are well balanced, but, of the three options (RIP Railgun), the Quasar is probably the optimum choice slightly more than half the time due to coordination issues and the general style of play this game funnels us into currently. If this is power creep then I'm ok with it. I could be wrong, but I don't expect a nerf. I do, however, expect the RR to allow a buddy reload without the backpack swap as well as new enemies that increase the need for burst fire overall.

    The most annoying thing on any youtube video is the constant cutting of dialog in a video with no natural pauses or breaks. It lacks the human connection. "Im going to rush through talking in this video and be boring af to the best of my ability." I just want to watch a youtuber that doesn't rush their dialog in their videos like they're trying to be a sweat in CoD. Most cringe thing ever is streamer dialog where everything is a question? I'm talking? HellDivers? I'm an NPC that lacks the ability of passing along information and genuine story telling?

      @jaycerr You have expandable every 60 seconds. You can shoot them faster than quasar and one after the other. They are very cool. Quasar needs to be charged when firing and needs to cooldown after one shot, not to mention that if you lose him in battle and can't get to it you will be vulnerable for quite a long time.
      I've had set of expandable by my side. having 4 rockets ready to shoot.
      As I've said it's just a choice.

    I got burnt out of Palworlds due to all the bugs. One of them games that needs more time to bake but understand why they wanted the early release.

    This is click bait, weapons ok... has some severe draw backs... besides the players calling this the new meta are either hacking on a PvE game or trying to play super sweaty solos and such and not playing how 90% of other players play

      @@GamerSingularity It isn't. You're right. It's more reliable than the ETA in a way but really on helldive it's only ass available as the ETA. The charge time can get you slaughtered as you stare a hulk in the face even if you pre-load it while trying to aim.
      It isn't meta or doens't need to be nerfed. It is really balanced actually. It's a good answer to mass heavy spawn that you see on helldive(soon to be above). No doubt it was released with new enemies coming in mind. Who knows what we'll find out when Troost is liberated.

    Quasar canno is meh. Stop trying to push guns on people. Quasar is new. But its not meta. Ever since 100% of my team mates started using it we havent made any progress in the major order quasar is meta but everyone using it keep failing missions. Havent seen a single person perform half way decent with that thing. "Meta"🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

      @kyleolcott1769 it's far better against bugs. But it's obsolete after difficulty 5. Unless all 4 team mates are using it and are on point taking turns firing. Sickle, laser pistol and laser cannon are still far superior. Can't tell you how many team mates I've had to personally escort them out of a shit show because they believed the queso cannon was actually op and found out the hard way you'll easily get overwhelmed using it. Yeah it'll 1 shot a bile spewer. But on difficulty 7 you'll be chased by 10 bile spewers 4 chargers 2 titans. Yeah 1 shot every 10 seconds is op in that situation 🤣🤣🤣

      @kyleolcott1769 don't get me wrong. RUclipsrs showing us different weapons is a good thing. But most people have way too much faith in the word of a youtuber. Beauty of this game is you can mix and match your loadout to fit your playstyle. And it's cringey as a mother fker watching majority of players abandon their loadouts to switch to whatever the latest youtube "meta" is. Just use what's fun not what youtube says to use. No way on hell 95%of the population all somehow just thinks the queso cannon is oh so fun. Na just sheep that can imitate behavior. Fake ass gamers cannot play without being told how to play.

    The only nerf I think they'll implement is it being able to take out shrieker nests. You never have to fight them again if you carry this strat. It just eliminates them from the game.

      @@GamerSingularity It's basically got the damage of a ETA, with infinite reload and a cooldown and charge up time for the attack since its laser/explosive. You can mis fairly easy due to sway but the charge up time leads to death depending on the situation.
      It also shoots with neigh unlimited range. I hit the shrikers about 200 meters away and never triggered any spawns. I just lay prone and let it recharge up to six times total and boom.. done deal.
      It's just as good as the recoilless rockets but with unlimited ammo. on helldive, when you have instantly per drop, 2-3 hulks and tanks... this weapon is helpful.
