- This week we arrived early for the 2023 National HDT Rally in Hutchinson, Kansas. We have enjoyed our time hanging out with old friends and making new ones. This has been a busy week for the men sharing their talents and helping each other with things on their trucks and rigs. For the ladies we have had several pot luck meals and have had a great time catching up since we were here together last year. Today's video you will see some of the pre rally activities and get to watch as several arrive for the Rally. We are excited about this years Rally with over 100 Rigs attending. We plan to get lots of video for you with ideas if you are planning to purchase a truck for your big rig travels.

Been there done that with the HDT. Really limited us to where we could go east of the Mississippi due to our size 68’ long. We downsized to a truck camper and pull our SMART car behind and now the sky is the limit. Nice to see the HDT’s though great video.
Unfortunately there are still some RV Parks that do not accommodate the big rigs, but for us we have not had any problems. Thank you so much for watching and safe travels.😊

Denise, it was great to meet you and Rickey at our first HDT Rally!! Next year, we should have our Little Girlie Truck (pickup) changed out to an HDT. FANTASTIC time, so welcoming, felt like we've been brought into a big, yet tight knit family.
The Rally is always a fun time, can't wait to see you pull up in your HDT next year. The HDT Community is wonderful. Maybe we will meet up somewhere as we travel. Happy trails and safe travels!😊

Yeah! No, I'm just joking of course! I get these funny thoughts! I suppose I thought of that as a contrast to how beautiful all the rigs are that were rolling in. You all have to put a tremendous amount of work and expense into your rolling homes and I commented you for that. For someone like me who doesn't live "RVwise" and watches this kind of thing I view in awe and admiration! I'm an adventurous sort and for that alone I would like to experience this kind of living for a time and if I love it perhaps permanently! Thank you for videoing your truck and trailer homes and sharing it with the world, especially for the uninitiated like myself! God bless!
