Silk and velvet scrunchies are the best! They glide right out of your curls without snapping and breaking off hair strands. Me having microscopic hair strands I have to be very careful what I use to the hair back with. I will also use silk scarves and of course silk pillowcases and sleep bonnets too. Although completely enclosing my scalp gets me sweaty at night I have to pineapple for bed using a silk or velvet scrunchie.
Happy Birthday! Thanks for the great tips. I tried the Tula Cleanser and it burned my face. Plus the scent was extremely off putting. I prefer to use the Eminence Probiotic Cleanser. Living in hot, humid Florida I personally like to set my tinted moisturizer/foundation. N7 has a powder what’s been dubbed as a dupe for the CT Airbrush Pressed Power. I also like the Elf Beautifully Bare Finishing Powder( several shades are available)…very similar to the Kosas Cloud Powder. The new Wet N Wild Timted Hydrator is a total must! For $5 it is packed full of great skin care ingredients ( squalene oil and HA)… the shades though are limited. Personally I use the Tatcha Deep Cleanse in the morning as I use retinol. It does a good job of sloughing off the skin in a very gentle manner. As always you look gorgeous!

Amen to all your 30 tips 🌺 and Happy 30Th birthday! I especially appreciated your self love tips at the end of the video. I’m almost 52 and I still sometimes struggle with this believe it or not. For example I’ve been married a long time 27 years to be exact. My husband has always preferred straight hair ever since I can remember. I actually flat ironed my hair for years until one day in 2019 I embraced my naturally curly texture. Well a few weeks ago we were watching a tv show and I commented on how pretty one of the actresses was. My husband remarked “that’s because she has long straight hair”. A few days later I went to Walmart to purchase another flatiron to see if after 2 years I would like straight hair again. The answer is NOPE! When I straightened it I was reminded of the reason why I went curly. I do not like it on me at all! The flatiron will be returned to Walmart tonight!
What would you recommend for dry,dull,baby fine strands,low density,natural curly hair? My hair sucks up oils,butters,but weighs strands down due to being so baby fine that a strand(even a few strands) cannot be felt between thumb and pointer finger. Yet if I only apply a drop of oil it's not enough to keep curls from frizzing.
Y'all know collagen cannot be absorbed from the outside. The molecules of collagen are way too big to absorb into our skin.Meaning external beauty products with collagen in the products just means that the collagen sits on top of our skin. Internally taking collagen works so much better starting at the cellular level and working outward. I've been taking collagen internally for 5yrs and I'm 43 and I look younger now then before I started taking collagen. Plus I love how collagen makes my knees not hurt anymore
