Quick tip: When going through muddy waters go slow it not only keeps u & ur bike clean but also if there is any rock or deeper potholes ur not going to have a bad fall. But I am pretty sure u knew that puddle was safe right?

Absolutely correct; plus there are other reasons too, greater the splash greater are the chances of water reaching deep to your electrical wiring and spark plugs. So to have some fun you can actually end up your trip in middle of nowhere. So be careful the next time. And yes; with all respect to the riders; I think if an Activa can go through this terrain then Dominar or even a Hero Achiever should have no issue. You could have spared the RE altogether from this trip. :P

As per me the best offroad bike is impulse. I can say lightness counts in offroading. Its difficult to handle heavy bikes in deep mud and rots. Instead of these dominar and RE i can say for splendor fit a good offroad tyre like MRF meteor or Ceat Gripp or Ralco Dura sport and splendor can take you easily and safely without falling down to any place. Many villagers do these kind of roads on their splendors regulary.

KK RIDER the only fiber in dominar is tank. So what u say doesn't make much sense. The chassis and swing arm is exceptional. I don't own a dominar.

i learnt that abs breaks don't help doing off-road rides as they don't lock immediately as non-abs which is more important in off-road rides..
because i was planning to buy the new dominar bs6 but got confused with duke 250 which comes with same price range which even has super moto mode in which you can turn off the rear abs which is good for off-road. i'm quite afraid that Dominar might not help coz i do off-road rides more often..

himalyan is nothing but a 190kg shit in the name of off roading....just giving you ground clearance and suspension....nothing more.....impulse is still a better off roader than a himalyan....even you can turn your duke 200 into a off roading which will be lot better than himalyan...

Moto Wobble ..... i dont know whether you have ride the impulse or not....but trust me.... if you ask rally racer....they will definetly recommend bike like impulse or adventure over himalyan....himalyan have lot issues....i have seen customers complaining lot of problems in the bike....some are major ones....this bike still needs lot of R n d .and a proper re-launch with reliable parts......
may be iam wrong...but i have seen....better options over himalyan....
my knowledge is limited...iam not against RE.... but they need to give a better product at this price range.

I liked you & your team put out this video, But the fact is Dominar is not advisable to take off Road without knobby tyres ,It can give really nasty surprise as with the stock tyre if you by mistake give excess throttle than you probably in for some bad situation with Powerful Engine.But someone who is sucker for off Road riding ,Then please switch to knobby tyres.But this ride as good as Semi -Hardcore off road ride and could see Dominar,Activa NS200 too can cope with these roads/ rather no road conditions. Most Enduring will be to take Dominar & Himalaya 300 kms B2B ride at speed excess of 120 kmph non stop then probably well engineered bike traits you can see,I did similar rides with my P180 multiple times,Many times with pillion ridden 260 kms flat 3:15 min ,380kms less than 5:30 hrs . But lastly sold the P180(dtsi) after nearly 11yeas of Service logging around 1.25lakhs kms with one cylinder head Repair only .One heck of a bike.Anyway keep us informed.

Dear MW , Thanks bro , But Nothings is perfect in this world , So as my riding experience ,Nothings great , Ya did lot of long riding(means more than 1500 kms one way many times) without breaking bones(but i do have three of them,Happened on shorter rides) ,But My experience lies predominately on sub 400 cc bikes .But i've ridden Dominar & i've experienced its potential but its not hooligan as KTM Duke 390 & ya that's good , The Dynamics of the bike is near perfect & it can bail you out with worst of situation with its safety features & chassis, Which may not be the case with KTM ( less forgiving with its power) I would prefer KTMs for commuting within city , But its restrained nature that i love in The Dominar & i want to possess it in near future ,That why i am tracking you guys in YT.And ya one more ,Get one new pair of off road boots for your bike & Splash ride(off road).

purchased bike in april, not sure about warranty.. was riding at around 65-70 kmph with a fat ass 80-90kg pillion.. and the road was having a lengthy pothole which was unseen. :(
