Johanna, Henrik and David makes the last run of art making with the rocket knife. This time they combine both acrylic paint smashing and spray can cutting.
Please don't try this at home (we're what you call insane).

David, Instead of using canvas as a "receiver" get som metal sheets and prime them. They should hold up a bit better when they're being hit. Might even result in some interesting shapes.
Another amazing video. I love the lady you have with you, she really makes them come to life with her total enthusiasm for your work bless her.
For the paint tubes; pour some of the paint out and cut off the top so it is wider, this will stop the paint from coming out the bottom, giving you a a bigger splash!

you can even make photo prints of the montage of pieces showing the paint trails across several pieces....wow..slow mo pics..a thousand different arts

I have an idea for rocket art!
Put servo triggers on spray cans to make clouds of paint in air, then rocket power the canvas through the paint in the air. If you put a board tight to the back of the canvas it should survive

Try putting the canvas between the board and the rocket. i.e. Make the canvas the smushing-target, but have boards behind it to make it solid.

you need a LOT more canvases around the impact!! (like a sort of "cone" of them around the impact area.....)
for where you're smashing the paint in the small bags....try the same idea but use paint balls taped to the board to see if you get better dispersion...

the primed metal "canvas" is a great idea. But I am still intrigued by the flat unfolded FT limited edition kits hit with Rocket Art.

David, ever thought about how bad an idea it is to have Microphones that work on the same frequency as your trigger mechanism? Would be pretty easy to fire it accidentally. Playing back one of your recordings where you hear the interference into the mic may be enough to fire your trigger.. Worth trying, and maybe getting a better trigger ;)
Put a frame arround the blaack red back one on the green side applied a strip of leds lets check the results and for the ones paintend arround a smal motor to make them spin on a high seeling should give a nice effect

Why does the mic sometimes go crazy after the rocket goes?
Hj Aviation his remote trigger is still turned on from activating the rocket. That signal will be interfering with the mic.

More specifically the Mic is a wireless mic. The trigger works on a similar, if not the same frequency, causing interference that gets turned into audio by the mic. Interestingly, this is the exact "noise" the trigger makes when firing. If you modified that "sound" the receiver wouldn't recognize the trigger, and wouldn't fire.

This might work better with a slower moving rocket paint system. The current system seems a little too violent and results in unpredictable and destructive application of the art media.
