- In our latest video, we revisit our dining experiences on Royal Caribbean's Ovation of the Seas with a frank and honest review of the food we had whilst onboard.
This Quantum Class ship offers an array of food and beverage options. Although we didn't try every venue, we provide detailed reviews and discussions about the ones we visited. Included in our review are several specialty restaurants, which come with an extra charge. During this voyage, we took advantage of a 3-night dining package and explored a specialty dining experience. Stay tuned until the end as we address an important question: Has The Windjammer improved or declined compared to our previous experience on Wonder of the Seas?

Hey! Thanks so much for watching!! Yeah, the Windjammer was such a let down on Wonder, so it really was such a relief on Ovation that it was back to its former glory. I don't know if the Windjammer on Oasis class is cursed! haha
Hi guys " grande" dining room had " amazing new york steak with " Cointreau in a sauce " cooked " medium rare " with a side of " caviar !" ( soft tasty melt in your mouth 😋 yum )😊😊

Fish & Ships is also on Independence of the Seas.
What were your thoughts on it?
@AntandGlen i really liked it on Independence. It was just as good as my local chippy when I lived in England. They even had deep fried Mars Bars.
BTW... it was pay extar for all menu items on Independence.
Wow, we assumed it was the same fleet-wide, but guess not. Not sure how we feel about paying for everything in that venue…but at least it’s a change from the buffet during the day, right?
@AntandGlen Trying to remember back to October 2021, just a couple of months after the restart of cruising in the USA. I think the fish and chips were $3, and the Mars Bar was a $1.
Went on the Alaska cruise last month. Just awful. The noise was outrageous - everywhere you go there's terrible music blasting. Food bad in the dining room. Reasonable in the Windjammer - at least there's a variety. But never again on Royal Caribbean. Terrible cruise.
