I prayed and prayed, took communion, and stood believing God for a good report. When I lost my mother, she wrote all her kids a note, telling them her and God decided it was time for her to come home. She was only 53. God honored her will to be with him in heaven. When we go home we will know all the mysteries of God. Until that day we will stand together and preach the gospel of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, one day at a time.
Never stopped praying for Joshua. I have struggled with why God took him home But after watching the service today I have so much peace. I am praying for the Christmas family. Love you.

It is great to see all your church family around, bringing you love and comfort. When my wife of 41 years died, every "christian" supposed friend disappeared. I am thankful to see this video. In my alone time, I had to press into GOD'S WORD. HE gave me peace and tremendous amount of joy. I wish there was a church like yours here where I live. GOD is so good. I lost my son (only child) 7 1/2 years ago. Through the pain and sorrow and as difficult as it was, I continued to praise & worship God. All I know is that I had to cling to Jesus like never before and He brought me through and healed my heart in five months. Praying for you and your family during this time of great loss and sorrow.

Such a blessing to hear those words about Josh with Jesus from the pastor. I felt in my spirit that Jesus gave Josh the option of coming back and he decided to stay with Jesus. As much as it hurts his loved ones no one could blame him or say they’d do differently. Josh’s love for the Lord was obvious - he never wanted to leave His presence. I have so much respect for Pastor Kent’s raw honesty about the struggle in his heart and for choosing to believe in and praise God NO MATTER WHAT. God will honor this family’s faith just in a different way than they had first believed. God bless.
Tears from Petal, Mississippi , thank you for sharing Pastor Kent Christmas, I just started watching your program, when I heard of Josh in the hospital, I prayed too. So I listened to Josh's testimony and then I was moved by his comments of compassion towards the gay community
Josh's testimony is mine ,I too was lost but now iam found , from this lifestyle !!! Married now with two grown sons , and two grandchildren. My heart broke when heard of Josh's passing, I cried in the shower, so no would hear !!! Noone could imagine what it's like to be in such darkness and to walk in the light of God's word in such freedom and love !!! My only heart's cry is to please the Savior of my soul. To do what your son did and is doing now !!! So may times I could have died but iam here now at 61yrs old . Teaching the Word of God in Sunday school, how His word is life to me as food is to our human body ,its powerful, its alive .Eternity doesn't start went you die, it started the moment you asked the word/ Jesus into your heart . It's why the thief comes to steal kill and destroy. Paul said we have this treasure in earthen vessels, and Peter said it was more valuable than silver or gold !!! Your son is a warrior and inspiration to me . May God comfort you and your family, love from a fellow soldier, brother John

The Lord used this celebration of life in a powerful way for me, thank you for sharing. It occurred to me that though our prayers weren’t answered the way we believed they would be, God was/is honored more by our faith and the expression of firm reliance on Him in the face of disappointment…that is a faith in God that comes from a deep relationship with God, even when we don’t see or understand the answer. The watching world cannot begin to grasp that kind of faith. It is in the moments of deep heartache that we find the faithfulness of God in ways we may never may have missed otherwise. We have a glorious hope and a future, and in the meantime we keep moving forward, advancing the kingdom…it won’t be long now. 💖
what a powerful Celebration. The hurt and sadness is real, but God is so gracious and powerful that we have the assurance of seeing our loved ones that have made heaven. Thank you Pastor Kent for the video, that explained why Joshua was not earthly healed. Recently lost my Daddy due to covid, But didn't understand why. Pastor Joshua's legacy lives on forever. He made a kindgom impact and through Jesus Christ changed and turned many lives from darkness to light. Pastor Joshua is alive in Heaven and in fellowship with our Father God, Jesus Christ and all the saints! I can just see the celebration that they all are having. One day we will all be reunited in Heaven to live forever, no more sickness, death, bondages, human frailties. At that time, we will live daily in the glory of God giving continual praise, forever! Praise God and our Lord Jesus Christ! Hallelujah!
I’m so sorry for your pain. My 34 yr old daughter went home to be with Jesus 6 years ago this week. There is no greater pain. Satan will try to torment you and steal your joy. When you get this se running thoughts say out loud these are not my thoughts and l refuse to think them. There were days l had to say that every few minutes bites until l mastered taking control of them. One anniversary l was so depressed l yelled out to God I JUST NEED TO SEE SHES OK. That night he allowed me to spend time in Heaven with her. Walk the streets of gold with her. See all the children calling her name. She loved children and she seemed to be in charge of taking care of children. All children go to Heaven. Not all of their parents make it to Heaven. I miss her so much. I have had to work hard to not allow Satan to ruin my life through allowing grief to suck the life out of me.
Have to add to my previous comment after watching till the end, such a moving service - I saw the amazing presence of God in you & your wive’s testimony! So moving! Could hardly function @ my son’s funeral!! You all will be in my prayers!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
