Hello! The updated deck list makes it a little easier to go 2nd, but you can switch out Triple Tactics and Superpoly with any board breakers that you'd like imo. Capricious Darklord is a little experimental, the idea was to use it to tribute summon Morningstar on the opponent's turn but it hasn't happened in my games *yet*. Having Morningstar in the deck does give me more Darklord plays but it also makes it a bit less consistent since you can't use Branded Fusion nor Fusion Deployment if you choose to go into a link monster. Channel Memberships update: Only one member away from getting the next emote slot! (Ukoback GG emote). Also for the "Exclusive Artwork" memberships, I'll have that done this weekend and will make a post for you! Thank you all

Capricious Darklord is really underapreciatted in this deck, specially with indulged. Also Nergal is a really good 2nd plan, even more in case you get crooked cook locked, since he gives piercing damage for every fairy monsters (main deck despians included). Because of it, i managed to do the most crazy combo i could ever come up with (at least i would, if the other played hadn't surrended). One time i was playing against a Eldlitch player. I didn't used any card that would lock me in fusions so i could used condemned darklord to search morningstar. Then i used contact to bring back superbia from the grave and with him, revive indulged, which searched nergal for material and give capricious to the other player. He only had a golden lord with the boost and one already summoned conquistador. Branded conflict into aluber gives me the theater, and with aluber, nergal and indulged, i summon the darklord fusion. Also, fun fact: some darklords can only be summoned once per turn, probably to prevent any suberbia loop, *BUT*, you can summon two copies of the same one if they're summoned at the same time, with that in mind, i use condemned effect to banish a ash blossom and maxx c to summon morningstar and with him, i summon 2 ixchels. Ixchel is the only lvl10 darklord, so i xyz then into the rank 10 spider, which has the effect to boost every monster i have equal to the difference between life points (around 6000 me - 8000 him at the time). With The first darklord, i bring back suberbia, that brings back nergal *Now for the big brain time* : First darklord into capricious, around 6000 atk into 1600 def, capricious second effects activate and take away 500 atk/def from the other player monsters x the number of fairy monster on the field + the difference gets bigger (4 fairys, so -2000). I activate Nergal effect to pay 1000 and apply sanctified darklord, that negates the effect of one monster on the field and gives his current attack as LP, i target the first darklord, that has 4000 + the difference between LPs, which gives me pretty much 10000 LP, i still can attack with nergal, condemned and the spider, but the opponent scooped. Most anticlimatic moment in this game for me
I'm trying a 60-card build. It's working out so far, I just added Choas Angel to my extra deck. I also added Kristya because I think it can help me out against Kashtira.

Nice boardwipe that mirror jade after he swapped monsters. High IQ plays 💪. I am thoroughly enjoying a 60 card version of this deck even tho it’s bricky as hell
I had a few losses where the duel was insane up until the end because I didn’t read a card and caused me to missplay ☹️ but if I get one where I do everything correctly then yea might be good stuff
If Hugin is being destroyed at the same time as another spell/trap it won’t be able to protect it. You’ll see Branded players use Guardian Chimera destroy Hugin and one backrow all the time
For sure, its on the to-do list. Waiting on some cards like Despian Lulu which we'll be using that I want to include gameplay of and then I'll work on that since the deck has had enough changes to make the video
Still swapping in gold sarc for that 3rd branded fusion? I've also been thinking about splashing in a small rainbow neos package since alba can grab it (as well as to start prepping for when dragoon is in MD)
I think it's either Gold Sarc or maybe even a board breaker to make things go a bit easier, will be testing them either way 👍 Will be interesting to see if Dragoon would come to MD
@@ՓՓՓ Yeah, the issue is that they have their own branded support, but it may trouble the unity of the rest of your deck. Darklords need that Fairy Type Despia Support, but with Bystial, that's disrupted quite a bit. Branded for sure isn't the problem, but it can't completely glue the archetypes together
Is that first match's opponent trying to make you piss off? It makes me angry the more I see it. So much delaying tactics to try to end the game, and then scooping off after playing so much handtraps without allowing you the satisfaction of a final blow.

Hugin can protect Spell/Trap Zone, but can't protect all zones
hugin can't protect if she is going to be destroyed as well, you can do something similar with guardian chimera if one of the two pops is for her

@_edy Nice, that will be sick! I've been testing out a build with her too. Plus her effect to also lower opponents attack would come in clutch as well
@_edy it's tough, darklords need a bit more support to make some of their high skill combos come out easier.

You can replace one of the Branded Fusions with Gold Sarcophagus or a board breaker of your choise 👍
Tbh I hate this meta with darklords. Bystials are too annyoing for kristya lock
