I think it's because he's confident and unapologetic and morally grey. Those are some of Stiles' hottest qualities but maxed out. I do find cute and wholesome Stiles hot as well but I definitely also enjoy a guy who smirks and punches supernatural monsters into non-existence and wows everyone with his ruthless magical prowess. I actually wanna read a fanfic where there's no nogitsune just Stiles going - well, not dark - but grey and discovering magical strength of some sort.
