If the 1650 had 6gb vram too would it be better? I have a 1060 SC 6GB but it's just making me wonder why these companies just release products that are less inferior than their then cheaper brothers. Is it highly optimised for something else or is it just down to scamming consumers and taking their money?
i still use my gtx1650 4gb vram i5 9400f 16gb desktop from lenovo in 2024 and the best part in that prebuilt must be the nvme ssd inside that was the best out when that pc was built in 2019/2020 so it has an extremly fast launch when i start the pc ...so if i want to look somethingp on youtube or google its very very much faster then my new pc Just insane that my old pc is so much faster to start up then my new(and the new is a few generations better in everything)So why its so much slower=?? My only guess is windows 10 vs windows 11(new pc) But should it really be this huge difference on launch of it when it comes to starting up speed time? Anyway....GTX1650 games that i played and think runs pretty good considering the low vram at 4gb! Cyberpunk 2077+dlc when dlc releassed it droped from 45+fps to 30fps so i lowered settings and it was just above the bad visual so still looked great(old vs new pc maximum setting so better) red dead redemption 2 i also played and had good visuals so just amazing i think I really didnt have any bigger issues w my older gtx1650 4gb until 2023 and dec 31th 2023 i had to buy a better pc and it was the cheapest prebuilt rtx3060 12gb i5 12400f and it was worth every coin so far(not max in every game,but close enough to have a great time n great looking game) gtx1060 is a great gpu and i have one of these that i gave to my mother n i still use it at their hous for gaming(just amazing that it still holds up n same w my older gtx1650 i have conected to my 65" tv for emulated games n controller only pc games so works great still w these games and will hold up for years still) NEXT PC I WILL GET IS THE RTX 4070 SUPER I5 14400F 16GB 1TB NVME AND PRICE SEEMS TO BE AROUND 1750EURO UP TO 2500EURO ALL DEPENDING ON WHAT PREBUILT BRAND I BUY(WHY THE PRICE IS SO DIFFERENT BETWEEN ACER,LENOVO AND OTHER BRANDS I REALLY DONT KNOW AT ALL??) 9800gt was exactly the same as 8800gt which was the first £200 card that could match games consoles of the time and more importantly play Crysis. 9800gt released with dx10 support which 8800 got later with driver updates. I built my first gaming rig in 2010 with a used 8800gt that cost me £35.

gtx 1650 has only 4gb vram and weaker gpu than gtx 1060
