Don’t do yourself down. You always come across very well when you are doing your voice overs. The dash cam isn’t bad for the price. As they say, you get what you pay for! 😁
Decent for the money. I picked up a Ring RSDC3000 Dashcam Bundle with Rear Camera and SD Card for £99 last Christmas and the quality is superb. You can pick out reg. numbers even in low light. It does not have voice control but you can download clips over its built in wifi. I could not conceive of driving without a dashcam now.
I have looked at a couple of reviews on the ring Dash Cam, I do like the way they haven't copied anyone they've gone and made their own design an unusual fitting in the car as well with the review that I saw anyway.
Another Very Good Review. The Rear Camera's Flip does spoil it quite a lot. Although, I suppose you could load it into your Video Editing Software, Vegas Pro 18, and flip it the right way round.
I have just installed the Pelsee P1 Duo to our car and can confirm that the rear camera records correctly on ours. You must have received a defective one. Overall the video quality is excellent. We paid £99 for the dash cam and hardwire kit and a further £13 for a 128gb sdxs memory card from Amazon.
Great review with an honest opinion. Would have been nice to see how easy/hard it was to install, in particular that front cable, but hey can't have everything
I didn't install it properly myself, I had the cable running across the centre of the car across the seats I didn't even use the sticky pads that come with it I used my own ones because I know they come off easily.
Since you've got 3 dashcams, could you do a review showing us the images from several of them in a split screen? Then we could compare this cheap one with a more expensive one?
I would do something like that but it's all about having the time to do it, plus one of the cameras I can't get the footage off of it, it goes to the cloud for the company I'm buying the car from, helps keep the insurance down.
Looks like the standard camera CMOS and software controller in a different branded product. Unless you are buying a reputable brand (like Viofo or RoadHawk) you really aren’t buying anything different between all the cheap brands Unless you are looking to report drivers on the other side of the road for driving offences, a lot of the cheaper cameras are good enough for insurance purposes if an incident does occur on the road. If you want the clearer picture on your recordings, especially if using for RUclips videos for example, then a higher quality camera is definitely needed 👍
The flipped image on the rear camera probably helps explain why the unit is so cheap. The rear camera may use a selfie camera unit usually found in mobile phones. Or it was originally created as a driver monitor. Can't believe there isn't a flip option in the software. If there isn't you can still flip it in your editing software.
I don't know what resolution was set to record but looks like 4k and it struggling to record normally. Maybe microsd card or cpu can't handle it. But video was like twitches.
"I've got big hands!". I've heard that excuse before. "I've just had a cold shower!", "It must be something I ate!", "It grows before it shows!", etc. 😂
I changed it in the app but it's only the live view that's changed if you look through a live feed to your phone. The recording still appears to be reversed. It's a pity but I suppose if you need evidence of a rear collision the clip will have to be put through some editing software to reverse to a correct view.@@thelondondashcam
Considering it's supoosed to be 4k its very poor, as dor the rear camera mirriring there should be something in rhe settings to fix it otherwise its worthless, I try to buy the best I can afford, which means non of these cheap units will ever go in my car, ps; you didn't mention whether or not it has parking and motion sensors
You usually get what you pay for and I certainly would not want this. FPS looks low, colours are washed out so I'd rather pay £250 for a proper 2 channel setup.
I was just thinking to myself no LDC video for 9 days, is he ill, has he stopped driving anywhere, are there no more idiots on the road... NAAAAAAH🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nothing wrong with your review. You appear to have given us the pros and cons without 🦬💩 and that counts for a lot. The mirrored rear view would 💯 mess with my head and I'm not great at following instructions. I don't think that this would be a 📸 to purchase but a giveaway - well; Gift🐴 and Mouth 😊. Nice one, Tony but where was all the fkn 🤬? lol
The rear camera was just installed the wrong way round Graham. I am sure if LDC turns it round the other way all will be fine 😉 Or we would get hand gestures to go with the KCUF remarks 🤣 Sometimes there are options hidden somewhere in a menu, other times those pesky software / firmware “engineers” like to do clever things for the greater good but it really messes with the head. Maybe viewing in a mirror would work? 🤔

Great review Tony. Presentation was spot on 👍👍👍
Nice review, covers everything you need to know. Need to get my parents dash cam sorted, they are in their 80's so need protecting.

Hello, thanks for your nice review video! You can enable or disable the Rear Mirror from the Setting on the app to flip the rear camera view. 😊
Is it still working it’s been 6 month
The anti flicker should be set to 50Hz in UK and Europe.
It's to do with the mains AC, causing lights to pulse and flicker.
Thanks for the advice I didn't know that.

good review, oh, check on options for the rear camera if there is an option "mirror" to correct the issue you had. I hope it helps.
Only flips the live view. Not the recording

the rear is mirrored...... change in menu, simples.

You know what they say about men with big hands!
They need big gloves 😊
That dashcam looked ok for the money, but ... maybe not quite crisp enough?
I downloaded the manual. I think that on page 13 option 7 allows you to switch left right views for the rear camera.
It seems to change only the live view. The recordig is still flipped :(
I don't know what resolution was set to record but looks like 4k and it struggling to record normally. Maybe microsd card or cpu can't handle it. But video was like twitches.
Have you got the back cam upside down might solve that prob
That wouldn't flip the picture horizontally, only vertically. Cunning plan Baldrick.
Thank you Trevor as usual my cunning plans don't go well🤣

Did you find a fix to the flipped rear camera footage?
Yes it was in the settings.
The rear camera view is reversible thru the phone .app
Did you resolve the back to front issue with the rear camera please.
Yes you can change it in the app, but I don't understand why have it at all and have it as a default setting.
@@thelondondashcam Yes that's weird?. Thank you for replying so quickly.

Just so busy with my normal job just haven't had time to do RUclips I've got a billion clips but no time to put him on.

Another giveaway donor 😂😂
great, you get to be a pedant in 4k......
