    Great collection of radios.
23:40 I think there is an adjustment screw missing off the tuning cap, right next to your thumb. (?)
    Happy New Year.

Have you ever heard that in the tube days, of placing the tubes in a 150⁰ oven for an hour to help the oxygen eater to help with removing/ converting the
oxides that build up over idle time?
    See you Friday

Yes it’s similar to rejuvenating a picture tube. But only a temporary fix. It’s a good idea if there are rare tubes.

I notice that tuning condenser is missing a screw. I don't know how you put your finger on it and didn't see it. I'm still watching the video so if you finally realize it's missing disregard this comment. That screw that's missing is part of the alignment

Good eyes. This is not uncommon. This ring with the "missing screw" is a capacitor. It is the broadcast antenna trimmer. The adjustment is done by bending the ring slightly. It does not need a screw and insulator like the broadcast oscillator capacitor uses (it has an insulator and screw). Some sets do not even use a broadcast antenna adjustment. I also pointed out the broadcast padder adjustment - which also serves as an antenna trimmer.

Can you explain what you mean by "giggles" ? I don't get what you are saying when you say "Let's change this just for giggles" I
I'm trying to understand what "giggles" has to do with changing a part or working on something. I know giggles is a form of laughing, but you must have another meaning of it that has to do with electronics. Please explain why you keep referring to "giggles"
    Thanks

It's an American expression. I said I would test them even though I am replacing them. So my thinking is that the test is not needed but just a curiosity. I simply mean that "testing for giggles" just means that it is not necessary, but might be fun to know if they were actually bad. Incidentally, the test revealed that the caps were out of range and the replacement helped considerably.
