I just got my Gambit Premium Format Exclusive. It was so well worth it. It instantly became my favorite statue. Thanks for the great showdown dr. Really nice points on both statues. I think you nailed it. Nice paint job on the custom by you. Impressive. Most impressive. Keep the videos coming!!!!
Hi Remy, fantastic review buddy both fabulous. Harsh for the custom because as you say its difficult to compare but you did have to repaint it and you have the skills to do it .. bravo. I would put the sideshow version up there with the original comic version captain america..the face has got so much character in it and overall it's just perfect..
Two epic statues, hopefully Bowen releases another Gambit as I'd like to stick to 1/6 for my collection. I also don't under the interest people have in mixed media as something looks 'off' with some of the other Sideshow X-Men pieces as if the characters are wearing spandex pajamas
I wouldn't count on Bowen releasing another Gambit. If it happens I would be ecstatic but the future looks bleak for Bowen and Marvel. I think Sideshow figured out the mixed media thing wasn't quite working which is why "premium format" no longer refers to mixed media statues (i.e. Apocalypse!), thankfully!
