The composition of this painting alone is stunning but I also love what you have done with the colour!! The red umbrella really makes the white of the lilies and the white background of the kimono pop. It also contrasts well with the detail of the silk kimono, I love that you considered not only the design but also the materials used to paint the kimono to give the impression of silk. I also really love the way you draw faces... would love to see how you sketch and compose the image before the painting process at some point. Would also like to say thank you for including the English subtitles, as I said before, I would watch regardless but understanding the discussion of the techniques used as well as the materials is really interesting.
she actually has a really good group of videos a bit before this one on her channel (they are in 3 parts), in the first one she shows her compositional and sketching processes! i'd really recommend watching them for an even more in depth look at her process- the end result is breathtaking too!

When I mentioned the sketching techniques I really meant more in-depth advice on drawing faces, kimono, hands, flowers, etc as I really admire the way in which she does that. The parts on composition in those videos were amazingly informative and I love the fact that she showed it!! The results are always absolutely breathtaking to me, no matter what paint medium is used.... even without adding paint actually!! 😅

Though it’s the same set, the colours are very dark. Sad that this is your last kimono painting! You are a fantastic artist and you present your videos so artistically.

反射光の色味を影に加えてまとまりをもたせたり、バランスを考えて彩度を変えたりと、見せ方を計算して描いていく方法がとても参考になりました。

和装を習った美容師の先生が、業界誌に掲載する婚礼衣装着付けのお手本撮影の際、撮影用の色打掛の柄すべてに金泥で輪郭線を入れて使用していらしたのを思い出しました。やはり色打掛は華やかな方が映えますね！
ポーチが薄っぺらい ってとこで 吹いてしましました。快適さんの動画で笑うとは思いませんでした(^^♪ しかし、フリーハンドのところはさすがとと思いました。また新しい作品ができるのを楽しみにしてます。
ポーチの薄さが気になりすぎて描いてるときに集中できなかったんですがコメント欄で教えてもらったので今すっきりしています😎

いつも思うのですが、着物の柄がとても細かくて見るたびにビックリします！
着物の柄や背景などはkaiteki artさんが考えているのですか？
私は花婿の気分を味わいながら描いたのでそれは略奪婚です！笑
今回の柄は最近祖母から送られてきた着物か帯の切れ端の絵柄も混ざってます🎨配置とか細かい形は絵の中でデザインし直しましたが、ちょうどオシドリの柄が入った生地だったので即採用しました🙆

The first drawing adds a little tone with a pencil, so I put it aside to give a hint of light and dark when painting🎨
