Your family starts to panic, quickly calling relatives to say "goodbye's", and "i love you's" while you run out your back door, up to a small hill. You and your best friends secret spot. Once you immediately get there, your friend is also there, in the same state you are. Panting, out of breath, adrenaline rushing through your veins. You both know this'll be the last time you see each other. You both run to the other, giving the other a hug, and lay on the soft grass. You both know you should probably be with your family, and spending your last moments with them. But it makes you both happy that both if your first thoughts were to run here.Your friend points out the large object forming in the sky,, getting closer and closer by the second. You both tell stories about the best moments with the other, and how your extremely grateful you both met in this life. Your not scared or worried. Your the opposite. This song reminds me of this summer, there were horrible fires and I was evacuated for a whole month. I didn’t know if I was gonna have a home after the fires and I was terrified. I didn’t lose my house but I know close friends who did lose their homes. I listened to this song a lot when I was evacuated and it really did feel like the world was ending. The fires were traumatizing enough but if I lost my home and everything I love I don’t know what I would’ve done. The fire came so close that the house across the street was gone but all the grass, trees and flowers around the yard was perfectly green and blooming, it was like a little paradise or oasis. And forest was all black and burnt and as soon as you stepped outside you could spell the burnt wood from the trees around. My world almost ended that summer and I’ll never forget everything I felt and went through that summer.
This song always make me wanna cry, I was living with my SO at the beginning of the pandemic and I was laid off a few months into the closure of our company, it really felt like the world was crashing down around us all we could do was watch as our life savings were drained by rent and bills. It took me months to find a new job and by then we were already in debt, my parents were gone and hers were abusive, we only had each other. I remember watching the news with her everyday hoping to hear good news only for it never to come, so we coped how we could, retreating into fiction we watched many shows and movies together over the months applying for countless jobs while we laid in bed. My dad met his girlfriend in a rehab. They got caught making out in the other’s room and were both promptly kicked out. This wasn’t my dad’s first rehab visit and his girlfriend had just gotten out of the mental hospital so they both weren’t too upset at the prospect of freedom. They set out and had a lot of adventures. Were the life of the crawfish parties they attended on the beach, downing hand fulls of pills and chasing them with liquor. I was around 13 or 14 when this was all taking place and I watched with envy as they blew through the lives of those around them like hurricanes, no care in the world. When my dad’s girlfriend died when I was 13 or 14, I was told it was an accidental overdose. As I grew up I found out it was suicide, which explained why my dad attempted suicide not long after she passed. This is only one love of my dad’s out of the lifetime he’s had. I’ve never seen someone love the way my dad does and I’ve never heard of anyone who can compare to the wild stories I have of my dad. For me, this is my dad’s song. Both for my dad and all the women he once loved. Makes me wonder... if my dad heard this song, which woman would he immediately think of first? Doesn’t matter which woman it was I guess. Each story never ended unless the world was completely burning down around them.

This song reminds me of this summer, there were horrible fires and I was evacuated for a whole month. I didn’t know if I was gonna have a home after the fires and I was terrified. I didn’t lose my house but I know close friends who did lose their homes. I listened to this song a lot when I was evacuated and it really did feel like the world was ending. The fires were traumatizing enough but if I lost my home and everything I love I don’t know what I would’ve done. The fire came so close that the house across the street was gone but all the grass, trees and flowers around the yard was perfectly green and blooming, it was like a little paradise or oasis. And forest was all black and burnt and as soon as you stepped outside you could spell the burnt wood from the trees around. My world almost ended that summer and I’ll never forget everything I felt and went through that summer.

This song always make me wanna cry, I was living with my SO at the beginning of the pandemic and I was laid off a few months into the closure of our company, it really felt like the world was crashing down around us all we could do was watch as our life savings were drained by rent and bills. It took me months to find a new job and by then we were already in debt, my parents were gone and hers were abusive, we only had each other. I remember watching the news with her everyday hoping to hear good news only for it never to come, so we coped how we could, retreating into fiction we watched many shows and movies together over the months applying for countless jobs while we laid in bed. We eventually had to go our separate ways so we wouldn't be homeless even if it was together. I don't know why I'm even typing this tbh. Things were rough but she kept me going and I'll never forget her for as long as I live.

My dad met his girlfriend in a rehab. They got caught making out in the other’s room and were both promptly kicked out. This wasn’t my dad’s first rehab visit and his girlfriend had just gotten out of the mental hospital so they both weren’t too upset at the prospect of freedom. They set out and had a lot of adventures. Were the life of the crawfish parties they attended on the beach, downing hand fulls of pills and chasing them with liquor. I was around 13 or 14 when this was all taking place and I watched with envy as they blew through the lives of those around them like hurricanes, no care in the world.
When my dad’s girlfriend died when I was 13 or 14, I was told it was an accidental overdose. As I grew up I found out it was suicide, which explained why my dad attempted suicide not long after she passed.
This is only one love of my dad’s out of the lifetime he’s had. I’ve never seen someone love the way my dad does and I’ve never heard of anyone who can compare to the wild stories I have of my dad.
For me, this is my dad’s song. Both for my dad and all the women he once loved.
Makes me wonder... if my dad heard this song, which woman would he immediately think of first?

It's the unavoidable destiny of all humanity and love still is not eternal but human wants to have it because it's like something we all need but at the same time might kill us, like air, water, our phone. It's the randomness of the world that makes everyone to live and keep going and the real human won't stop because we all deserve to live even though we all know the destiny. The pain, the love, the hate, the envy, all the emotions/feelings, the way we perceive world makes us react on doing something that creates other reactions, it's funny that a laugh, a call could have avoided your birth, the perfect imperfection of the world is truly amazing.
