We were there early June and loved it! We hiked up to Fort George. It was too bad the restaurant didn't open until afternoon (check before you go) it's just beautiful and most people speak English very well.

Is accomodation widely available? I would be travelling in a car by ferry from Split, is Parking easy?

Yes, accommodation is widely available on Vis Island, especially in Vis and Komiža. Although, make sure to book in advance during peak season. Parking is generally okay, and many accommodations offer parking or nearby public lots. ☺️
