    After doing a lot of research, I've seen that so many people have had problems with the customer service at EC. This is the main reason I will most likely be ordering Plum Paper. I don't want to pay $50+ for something that won't arrive until after I need it.

    Thanks for taking the time to make this review so detailed:). I have always been an EC fan ( been using her life planners for years), I think the PP one is pretty nice too:). Just wanted to thank you again for the EC gift card giveaway you held a while back. I was one of the lucky winners and was pretty excited to splurge more than I usually do :). Love your channel:). I have been watching a lot of planner comparison videos between these two companies and feel like if they could combine them they would have the perfect planner! For example, I like how Erin Condren has the laminated covers as well and many more accessories. However having the option to change the weekly format in the Plumb Paper Planner was a must have for me(the morning/day/evening layout doesn't work for everyone). I like the family planner where you can customize each row with family members names or other categories. You always give wonderfully detailed product reviews and I enjoy watching them very much! Perhaps you could make these recommendations to these companies since you have a relationship with them.
    Thank you!!

    I have the Plum Paper Student Planner and I absolutely love it. For their student planners you can personalize the side with 7 courses that you are taking. Compared to EC I think PPP works better for students. My friend has an EC and it looks difficult to see what homework is for what class. I have had my planner for 5 months now and the coil is still working perfectly and it is still in amazing shape which is saying something considering how much I toss it into and out of my backpack.

    Jen, I love how detailed you get in your reviews. Huge thumbs up for that! Even though I cannot purchase the plum paper planner (try to say that 3 times FAST! Hehehe...) now since they don't do international shipping yet. It might be something I'll look forward to since Erin C's is expensive. However, I'm also thinking of getting the Uncalendar pad! Excited to begin organizing my time and life! Thank you again, Jen!

    I'm sorry but I would never pay an extra $20 for what? Some pretty extra paper and interchangeable cover? By the end of the year, you need to order a new calendar anyway and the plum paper has lasted awesome for me- I like the more options they have for layouts and I decorate it myself. THANK you for doing the comparison video. It's helped me decide to stick with Plum Paper.

      ***** plum paper wants 25 for just regular planner, assuming with add
      ons it would be more. too much. Assuming it most likely wont cost them 25 to actually ship it. Unless u live in US all of us will be paying for shipping through our nose for everything. No thank u. I order mine from Canadian company on etsy. Nothing fancy but works for me.

      Organized Like Jen Looking forward to it. I use a personal size as a wallet/calendar/restaurant coupon holder and it works well. But for everyday planning I was using an A5 size ringed notebook. I loved the size, but didn't like the price for plain old paper refills. So, I switched to a regular notebook size...cheap but cumbersome. Something spiral bound is nice because it can fold in half, but I like the ability to rearrange items with the ring bound. Some many choices and I'm fickled.

    Great looking planners and great presentation. I think these planners would be really helpful for a busy, working mom, but to tell you the truth, from a business woman prospective, I use a much smaller regular planner from Target. Besides the fact that it costs way less, is much smaller and I can take it with me everywhere I go. I have to take my laptop too so with such a big planner would be too heavy. I also have my daily planner and log for my advertising, contacting prospects, events, etc, everything for my business in a special notebook for that and another notebook for my contacts. Planners like those presented here are big, they have everything in there, but still not enough space for all your business needs.

    • @LaVaneBea
      @LaVaneBea 9 лет назад

      I feel like these definitely work better for family planning. LIke it would be nice if you like doing family planning stuff and keep it in the kitchen/family room, somewhere where anyone can use it for reference, or even just for yourself, you can use it for things that are only pertinent to your personal life and not clog your business planner with your dog's vet appointment or a kid's play date or meal planning

    • @luckyducky224
      @luckyducky224 9 лет назад

      I've always felt that way about planners like this, too, until I saw her review on the Uncalendar. I bought one specifically for my job. Hadn't received it yet, but I have high hopes for it. I think it will finally make "calendarizing" enjoyable.

    • @LaVaneBea
      @LaVaneBea 9 лет назад

      I'll go to the Googles to investigate. I know it's technically late in the year, but I'm looking for a good planner/ideas for planners with family theme, something that makes chore division easy, you know? Also, different pets have different needs, so the kitty litter needs to be changed/scooped a few times a week, but the dog needs to be walked a few times a day, but sometimes we don't remember to tell each other what time the dog was walked/when he pooped, and gets a monthly dose of Frontline, which honestly, I forget unless I see the sticker thing on my calendar... so, mostly, I'm thinking about what is really useful for me, and what things or aspects of planners I find useful. EG: I really prefer daily page or 2 days per page than a monthly view.
      Thanks for mentioning the one you got.

    Hi. I am enjoying your planner review series. Have you looked at the disc bound planner systems or will you be reviewing them? I have been looking into them because of their flexibility. I just ordered the Levenger steel desk punch and 1" and 1.5" aluminum discs. I prefer to use metal over plastic for environmental reasons. I did not order a cover from levenger as they are geared towards professionals, and they just are not cute. I will be checking out the Staples Arc covers tomorrow. They are cuter, but I prefer not to go with leather again for ethical and environmental reasons. However, the girly part of me wants to get the teal leather over the black neoprene cover. Aaahhh! Sometimes being responsible just sucks. Anyway, thanks for the reviews. They have helped me make my decision. Looking forward to the next one.

    Thank you for doing this review! I've used an EC planner for 4 years, and I love it. In fact, I just ordered my 2015 planner. I was surprised when I looked at the Plum Paper site how much their planners look like EC! The PP price point is really nice; however, the easily bendable coil is a deal breaker for me. I often throw my planner in my bag and set stuff on it, and I need it to open and close it easily. It's worth it to me to spend the extra $20 for something that I need to hold up to daily use for an entire year. It's Nov 1, and my EC still looks as nice as it did Jan 1!

    • @MahalaniM
      @MahalaniM 10 лет назад +2

      You actually can request that PPP use the larger coil on your planner at no extra charge, even if you are just ordering a standard 12 month planner. Their larger coil is the same size as the EC.

    Is there an internal difference between the foil planners and regular? And if not, then why would you pay $75 when you could just buy a regular and then a foil cover for $65.95 AND have 2 sets of covers? I'm interested in the product but that just sounds really greedy to me.

      There's a vellum page in the front that has either gold or platinum dots, but other than that, the inside is the exact same.

      I looked at this as well and the other difference seems to be that the foil editions also come with the elastic band standard as well, on the gold edition you also get the upgraded gold plated coil. So really it kind of evens out when you look at those things... $15.95 for the cover, the band, and the extra foiled vellum sheet. Just depends on if it is of value to you :) I love the Foil cover in platinum and it is a little less to just get it rather than adding a cover and a pack of bands where I don't anticipate switching out covers much.

    Hi Jennifer! I LOVE you videos..and I have a request..I am going into middle school and I wanted to ask if you can make a video on ways to organize your planner.
    Thank you, and please give me a shout out :)

    Love your vids Jen and enjoy watching you but in three weeks we've had three planner vids. Can we please go back to organisation and less planners. I enjoy seeing more of your actual organisation of things and less of the diaries. Love your closet organisations and travel packings series, so perhaps an updated pantry tour or how you organised unpacking after your trip to Italy? I'll look forward to it! :)
