Love how you’re using beads to give a shipwrecked vibe for The Tempest jacket! It does sound like a daunting task trying to sew the beads on but well worth the effort. It’s absolutely gorgeous!! Love it!! 😀🧥📿
Love how much thought you put into your designs! You’ve inspired me to make a vogue jacket the way you do with the netting and to try my hand at beading! Starting with some nice cheap suiting fabric before I go for a fancy tweed
Fabulous! Thank you so much for sharing your creative process. It is really inspiring to see how you work through translating your concept into reality and the confidence as you push through the ugly ducking phase and get to where it looks, as you say, effortless. You have inspired me to make my own beaded jacket and I'm really enjoying the freedom of the beading. I know it wont be perfect, but I'm so enjoying the process and love the idea that no one in the world will have anything like it! I was wondering if you were tempted to flow the colours across the centre fronts so it looks like one piece? I especially love those big shell beads, they look incredible! Looking forward to seeing what you do with those narrow white stripes!
Thanks so much! Yes, I'm actually unpicking some of the middle front beads so the colors match across the front of the jacket. It's awesome that you've taken up beading! It's so much fun and it's such a creative challenge. Happy beading! 🥰🎨🧵🌊🪡
Thank you! Yes, it was a bit impractical. I actually carefully took these beads off and put on slightly smaller ones. I just wear them as everyday jackets with a t shirt and jeans. I put so much effort into them, I feel like I should wear them as much as possible.

Thanks so much! It is quite the challenge but I'm finally using some beads I've had for years and years. Very satisfying. 🥰🧥🌊🎨🧵
That fabric itself is so remarkable, I can't imagine doing anything to it. It's a brave move.
Yes, it's a really lovely tweed. I have a small scrap left so I might make it into a handbag. 🥰🧥🎨🧵🌊
In total awe of you skill and creativity!

How and where do you wear such a beautiful and fragile jacket like this?
