I'm trying out the Mous intra-lock system. It's nice because I can still use the mag-safe charger and mag-safe accessories. It's easy to put the phone on the mount because the magnets help guide you, and its easy to take the phone off whenever I want to stop and take a quick picture. It's been staying on very secure even when going over very bumpy roads or boardwalks. I got the version that was intended to be put on the end of a selfie stick because the bike specific mount would stick out way too far and would interfere with the fold. The mount uses a go-pro style connection, so I got one of those camera mounts that fit in the handle bar bolt on the middle of the Brompton handlebars and it's been working pretty well for the last few months.
Bummer you basically have to dedicate a phone case to the quad lock. I’m surprised they don’t have an option to clamp/unclamp the phone to the mount. Thanks for sharing!
I thought the same thing. I have double sided 3M sticky tape so when the time comes to replace my case, I can take it off with dental floss and retape it to a new case. Thanks for the comment!
Hi you might wanna check out Peak Design mount as well, if you have iPhone with MagSafe, Peak Design case will retain that feature while still able to mount securely on its mount.
Mine broke after 3 months because I often shift it around and possibly may have damaged the hinges. I also fit the mount to an S-Type handlebar and have to say it is not as secure as a M-Type. Currently I'm using a standard Quad Lock Mount which not only has a larger phone mount. But also has space for a rubber gasket. I'm happy with it but the only downside fitting a standard mount instead of a Brompton specific one is how it has to be mounted to not affect the fold of my bike.

Nice! Great idea to hear more commentary/self-vlogging during your bike ride! Quick question: can you angle it horizontally?
Good question! Yes I just tested it and it will work both ways!
@@BromptonFamilyTime nice!

I like it so far. I wish it was a little easier to take on and off since I use my phone to take videos and pictures.
@@BromptonFamilyTime why you don't buy Quadlock Stem Mount? I think its better for S-Typ handlebar..
