my friend genet has a salon on 11th ave and 13th street and good thing its only a few blocks from her place and tell her all the time avoid the deerfoot and even glenmore and blackfoot trails. stay warm peeps a chinook is coming.
very familiar with this place having lived there on and off 16 years mostly in inglewood marlborough erlton and haysboro. and victoria park and yes back in the 80s vic park had houses everywhere and we were on 13th ave and 4th st.the weather still stays the same cold and a very hard sell for global warming. i tell friends all the time about how cold it gets here and they live in aussie hong kong vietnam the warmest places on the earth they cant imagine being in this cold i tell them its not even fit for animals. you cant beat this scenery and has to be the best not just in this country but the world. would be nice to live there again.
