Outstanding flying skills! You stayed so low, so close to bushes, debris, the water... Risky but what a video and it ain't CGI! I got a ride in an F-111 once a long time ago, 90 feet at 680 knots, it was intense, your video is almost better, it's damn sure a lot lower.
I showed this video to a friend of mine that was just in town visiting. He was flying his down near the hot springs from my back yard in La Verkin. He was very impressed with your piloting skills and so am I. Beautiful video!!!
I recognized Sheep Bridge pretty quickly but have never seen that diversion dam nor do I have any clue where it's at along the river. We're in the area often too! Thanks for sharing such great footage!
We were at Chief Sleep Easy RV Park in 2010 to 2011 season when a mans house floated down the river near the park! 2nd time in five years that it happened to him!
Did you buy this drone from Russia? This thing flies for MILES and doesn't glitch. I would say it's clearly a KGB-level drone. hahaha! Amazing video!!!! I would have splashed down like 10 times, but you got this!!!
So, so beautiful! I'm usually not a fan of drones buzzing around, but this is gorgeous. And you weren't buzzing it over the heads of a bunch of people. We just got home from visiting the desert Southwest, and now I want to go back! I will always love my state of Indiana, but a lot of my heart is out there. Thank you for the beautiful video!
0:57 Are those rocks deep overhangs with water flowing underneath (similar to The Strid at Bolton Abbey in the UK) in that area where the water isn't wide? 3:30 I wonder what designer thought that lowhead dam on the far right was a good idea? Looks like a recent design, too. Wildlife death trap.
What kind of distance can the drone and remote control be separated by and still remain operable, and what is the cost of the unit like this with these distances ? Neat video...
This is the Virgin River about 15 miles downstream of Zion National Park. I shot the footage in two different locations. One above the diversion dam and one below the diversion dam. That is why the more rocky and steep section has very little water before the floodwaters arrive. It took a little over 3 hours for the flash flood to travel the 15 miles to Virgin Utah. There was plenty of warning to setup the cameras.
I'm curious if you had any difficulty flying this in the park since they're "not allowed" in the park. I want to fly mine there this summer, but don't want it confiscated and a fine.
@@abfreeman10 No I mean how did you keep the visual line of sight? You clearly could not have had a line of sight of that drone with the distance and the switchbacks in those canyons. I'm a new pilot and just trying to understand these things.
Cool video. Be careful. My great grandmother's first husband was killed in the Virgin River during a flood. He was standing on the bank when the water washed it out.
Has anyone built a “pulp mill”… to harvest that timber slag each year… Just saying … a plywood plant wouldn’t have to hunt for wood…Just wait for it where it accumulates ..build a pulp mill…right there…scoop or divert it..harvest it… cutting standing timber….,
You do realize it says near Zion National park… you do realize I obviously am a professional pilot and know the rules. You do realize if you can write then you must be able to read. You do realize you made yourself look like a fool

Oh thanks! It was fun seeing the river rise that quickly! I've been watching your videos. Looks like you know the goods around here
@@abfreeman10still finding more all the time Thanks for watching my vids!
Awesome piloting skills here! 👏
Amazing range he has over the drone as it travels up the stream. Great photography.
Downside is slight blurring from moving too fast. Would be much cleaner with slower flying.
I gotta agree with what several others have already stated…..” Great piloting skills !” Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
THANK YOU FOR THE ADVENTURE. I don’t get out much anymore. Keep safe and healthy.
Drones in the right hands produce awesome results! Wonderful!
Thanks!
Bro! Love the skills. More of these videos and.you'll go viral for sure. Amazing flying...

As a drone pilot this made me very nervous. Lol. awesome skills here.
Great filming skill with amazingly beautiful music

Man I miss this place. I used to swim daily up near Sheep's Bridge. I believe you flew right past it. Great video.
I swam naked just under that cliff. Beautiful footage.✌️

Thank you Adam. Just wonderful.
That was awesome ty for posting this
Thanks for watching
That's near Virgin. I was telling you to get out of the river. Then i remembered it is drone footage. Thanks. It was interesting to see.
Not only great piloting skills but your cinematic shots higher up were excellent. Great filming skills.
Thanks
OK Very nice and ballsy to fly so low up the river. GREAT vid pravo
this is what I imagine birds get to experience
Super impressed with your flying! The end is epic!
Glad you enjoyed it

Great video and flying skills. I thought national parks are no fly zone though? I'm new to the drone game.
Thanks. This isn’t in the park. It is about 20 miles west of ZNP
Very skillful filming. !
awesome footage Adam
Oh the power of water. Often so understood. it has amazing strength.
Amazing and beautiful footage!!

Thx!

Incredible piloting here!
Got some flooding in Colorado City too from that storm.
I just got a drone. I hope one day I can pilot it as well as you can.

Awesome capture, we were there 3 days after this flash flood
really fabulous
What type or make of drone are you using here? This is really fun to watch.
Mavic Zoom and DJI FPV. THANKS

So this is near Zion but not in it. It is about 20 miles outside the park. I do know it is illigal to fly in the Town of Springdale and ZNPO
Great job! Nice work.
How about VLOS (section 107.31), or did you get some waiver? Really nice footage though.
This is “near” not “in” ZNP

Stunning. Music please?

What’s the background music?
I’m not sure haha it was free on iMovie maker
Awesome vid. Stay Active!
Man o Man--outstanding
Very cool video.
Thank you
What's the name of the song?
Nice work! But, why am I the only one not allowed to use a drone in a National park?
This is near Zion National Park not in it... it is about 15 min away in the Town of Virgin.
Those of us who visit National Parks for the beauty don't want drones buzzing around. But this was outside the park and so so beautiful!!
I’ve gotta do it! Just moved to Mesquite!
Nice job!

Wow skill drone video
Nice Music to go with it thanks

This guy is not afraid to crash.
Flying drones in the National Park is a big healthy fine. You may have one coming.
He's not in Zion, he's downstream. The title says NEAR.
@@M2Abi I live in Zion N.P. He is clearly in the park. I know the landmarks well. He isn't fooling anyone.
@@tlounsbury I was flying in Virgin Utah. Pls give me a time stamp of where you think it was in Zion NP.
This doesn’t look like anywhere in the park. It is clearly in the area near Virgin and LaVerkin.

You do realize it's illegal to fly a drone in a national park.
