From big concert stages to small screens, idol stars are presented to us as these flawless creatures with the perfect bodies, the perfect complexion, the perfect energy. Even seemingly perfect K-Pop stars have physical defects. These days, in spite of their beauty, talent, glamour and charisma, they’re still just as imperfect as the rest of us. Here’s Kpopmap’s guide to interesting body oddities. The 13 idol stars with physical deformities have no problem speaking about distorted eyebrows, gnarled hands and mismatched scars.
You may be surprised at just how many of your bias have physical deformities. In this post, we will take a closer look at eight of those celebrities. One thing is for sure, the noticeable flaws make them unique and give them character.
Now of course you shouldn’t make fun of them because of these things, just let them serve as a reminder that these idols are just like the rest of us!

I feel so bad for kyuhyun and yunho for those who don't know yunho had a really rough childhood and kyuhyun got in to a really big accident and was told he could never be a idol but he still stayed a idol just took long to recover

Felix Lee Ow... the only other scar I have is on my right foot. It happened when I was like 10 years old, I was doing head stands but when I wanted to go back on my feet, my right foot got into the edge of a dresser and yeah... the wound was really really deep...

Here’s One people don’t know: Monsta X’s Hyungwon had multiple scars all over both his arms that he got as a result of over-scratching his atopic dermatitis, bleeding, and injuring himself (Somewhat like Taeyong). They were so visible and huge that he was insecure about his arms for a really long time and wouldn’t wear anything but long sleeves to cover his arms up. Even in really hot summers. Now most of them have healed and faded, and he has enough confidence now that he can wear whatever he feels like wearing and walk around. The biggest scar is still very visible, but instead of being shy he notices when people pay attention to it (which they hardly do), and he just points it out like, ‘It’s a scar from Atopic Dermatitis’.
He even leaves some advice for people that are insecure like he was: That others hardly pay so much attention to us. At least far less that we think. So we should just be comfortable with ourselves and if they do notice, don’t be ashamed and point it out first. Stan a cool hyung❤️

One of my scars I have. It is on my calf, a mosquito had bit me and I was so annoyed because of the itching so I was just going to scratch, but I caused a 8/10cm wound with my nail because I was so annoyed and not carefull lol

Hearing about Key's eyebrow scar reminds me of the time he admitted to self-harming in the past. He has so many scars, emotionally and physically, showing different aspects of his life. He is so strong.

Scars just make you a more beautiful and stronger person, both inside and out, since it just goes to show you how much a person has gone through only to find themselves becoming a more open, heartfelt, and resilient person out of the experience. Sadly, nowadays most (but not all) people tend to disregard this fact since we obviously don't know much about other people's history and just downright judge. :(

I have a tiny scar above my left eye because I got surgery on my left eyelid twice and that also caused me to get an extra fold on my eyelid

I think everyones scars, small or big, can be seen or hidden away ...All are OKAY. What's important they survived and did not hide away feeling down and afraid to show the world their actual talents and confidence to faced any problems and bad experiences in life.
Kyuhyun's scars are not just a memory of an accident but a memory of how much he loved singing. I remember the doctors suggested an operation which could lead him not to sing anymore but because his parents knows how much he loved singing they opted for another option

I have a scar all across my back because when I was born, a heart thing that was supposed to be closed was still open. That caused my heart to beat slowly and abnormally and I could barely breath. I had to have surgery to fix it! Now im left with a giant scar on my back

I relate to these that were caused by clumsy accidents because I have a few from accidents too. Burning myself on an oven, accidentally cutting my ankle pretty badly when shaving, getting a rock stuck in my knee, and somehow splitting my ear open on a dull bedframe. I'm too clumsy.
I don't notice the scars on Idol's bodys or their face because looks are not the only important things.They are all beautiful just for who they are and because they are so talented and amazing!💜
Taeyong is my bias and I think he looks very cute with that scar.
I have many scars.
1. My nose has a bigger ridge due to my dog biting me in the face
2. My lower lip has a short scar where I got stitches because my dog bit me in the lip
3. The right of my lower lip is slightly bigger than the left side due to getting stitches inside of my lip (from #2)
4. I have a big scar on the left side of my right back because the faucet scraped my back while getting up out of a tub
5. I have a little dark spot/nerve that kinda got damaged while I stabbed myself with a toothpick (on accident)
6. I have a very small scar on my left hand, middle finger and ring finger because a bird bit me when I was young
7. I have another small scar on my forehead where I hit my head against a strong glass window which I now have a crack on my forehead
8. I have a lump/bump on the back of my head where I fell backwards and hit my head on an iron table
9. The right side of my abdomen has 'has slightly less fat' than the left side due to a Hernia
10. And my head is slightly misshapened due to being born prematurely
But, I like to keep the scars since SOME of them hold nice memories. 😊

I, myself have a lot of scars on my face. some are more noticeable than others and they've brought me down a lot of times (the worst was probably when they were called 'dents') but personally the worst was kyunhyuns :(

A lot if people think it's a bad thing that people get scars, but I take it as them saying that they too get injuries and are normal people like us
I have many scars (mostly caused by my animals scratching me and I used to climb trees a lot) but I think the stupidest one I have is a burn that goes across my chest. It's smaller now but I got it from getting too close to a pizza pan that just came out of the oven. Yes, I have a pizza pan burn scar.

He got it from arm wrestling one of the other members at a concert/fan meeting. His muscles were too big and broke the bone in his upper arm ( this is completly true, look it up)
He carried on with the concert/fan meeting with his arm in that state and later had to operate it so now he has screws in his arm.
