    Fantastic - very nice crystal clear video - now i can see where the floppy is as it's not working on mine
    so many screws... and lifting the decal sticker on the front is a pity to get to those 2 screws :(

    Now that's what I call a really great box :D, even if it only has a 12 Mhz 286 in it......... but the box runs like new :)

    Hey there, I was wondering like how do you know to navigate that computer? Because if I do get one, I’m absolutely going to be clueless in how to operate it.

      It's almost the same OS I used at home when I was a teenager 😅

    Regarding 6:02 you’re saying that stubbing the cover sensor allows you to test the display.
    Which one? Plasma or external?

    • @Vitaskhr
      @Vitaskhr  5 месяцев назад +1

      Plasma. It's sensing whether the lid is opened or not. So, for testing without the lid, you need to put something metal into that sensor, or the screen will remain black

    Hello, this video reminded me of an interesting past time. Thank you!
    I have a "Compaq Portable II" state 3+/5, because I disassembled it with a parcel to improve the parameters ;D but did not get my hands on it ... at the moment it is functional, but does not have software : what bios to ask to provide it to replace magnetic disk (5") with the operating system.
    And I need money, I live in Poltava, Ukraine.
    To recommend or suggest? ;) Thank you!
