Loved the gopro on Kokie! Seeing how people act from her point of view is different. The amount of people that showed off for the gopro though was hilarious lol. Glad you had a good day out.
Is Kokie a mini aussie or a regular aussie? I have a mini aussie that is going to be my service dog someday. He is 10 months old and he starts training in a week at Petsmart. I'm so glad that Petsmart has group training and they do training around the store too! It will help him so much since he will be around a lot of distractions so he should focus pretty well when we are done. He's doing the beginner training, then we will do the intermediate, advanced and the CGC training and test. The trainer said she used to train military dogs for 6 years (we live about 5 minutes away from a military base) and she also trained service dogs for 8 years and she said she can do some training outside of Petsmart for us since they don't offer service dog training. The trainer is really good and she is fear free certified and does positive reinforcement training. They also don't allow martingale collars, prong collars, e-collars, choke chains, half check colors or any other collars that can cause harm which is great because I don't want to use those methods on him. I don't agree with using those types of training tools unless you have a very large service dog for mobility or POTS or something like that, but only for safety reasons.
That place is next level illegal... smh, they need to take those signs down and say service dogs only, and also stop letting their pet roam around the restaurant like that! It’s not fair to even not allow pets if they themselves have a pet, it’s especially wrong for them to deny service dogs.

You and Kokie are such big inspirations💗
Kokie!! It’s so wonderful to see you! Interesting things from her perspective plus how people acted. ❤ best of love and luck to you!👑🙌
Glad that Cokie did well the festival and that both had a good time. Did you find that you got more attention from people when she had the GoPro on?
This is a great video both for the dogs-eye-view and for a look into the sd handler experience. People are so dang disrespectful 🙄
