    What if the machine simply shows err with no number?

  • @MrDonovan124

    I have this exact machine and I washed a heavy duvet in it. It finished the cycle and seemed okay but now won't spin or start a new cycle for anything else. Showing e18 and won't start even if i redistribute the load

    • @thelaundrycookie1200
      @thelaundrycookie1200  2 месяца назад

      E18 indicates failure to spin due to unbalanced load. you mention it won't start at all - E18 should not prevent the machine starting. try unplugging the machine for a minute or so, then plug it back in and try starting a cycle again. if it still doesn't start then there's a potential PCB fault. hard to diagnose such a fault without being in front of the machine.

    Hi! I got an htv8636xs0, error code E00. I'm at a loss, can't find the error anywhere for the life of me. I know it's not the same model but I'm desperate :( do you know what it may be about?

    • @thelaundrycookie1200
      @thelaundrycookie1200  Год назад +1

      E00 shouldn't be an error, rather the machine telling you that there are no stored errors, in the same way as mine displays E-- when i do error reading. are you able to tell me what happens just before you see E00 appear?

    We have E18 error but the door will not open at the end of the cycle to allow us to redistribute the load? Is there a way to override the door lock? The machine is definitely draining and we have cleaned and drained the filter

    • @thelaundrycookie1200
      @thelaundrycookie1200  7 месяцев назад

      unusual, perhaps try running a drain cycle (spin but set to "no spin") to see if it unlocks after that. if not then there must be an issue with the lock not releasing

    Hi what if the machine have got na error number 18? Won't start and I have a problem to remove the error.

    • @thelaundrycookie1200
      @thelaundrycookie1200  Год назад

      E18 means the machine couldn't complete the final spin due to not being able to balance the load. this should not stop you from starting a cycle. turn the dial to off, then try starting the cycle that you're trying to run.

    • @mikoajf1617
      @mikoajf1617 Год назад

      Again the same it won't start but I've noticed also that the door doesn't lock.

      I can't reset this fault. Washing machine has number wmb 71032 (Beko).

    • @thelaundrycookie1200
      @thelaundrycookie1200  Год назад

      you mention the door not locking, it sounds like you could have an issue with the door lock. it's possible that the E18 error was either stored from a previous wash cycle, or it could be a false error. beko can be weird with door lock issues, mine had an issue where the door suddenly just never locked (yet worked as normal), but it also never gave an error. even before it broke, i once started it without the door shut and the only thing it did was reset the cycle as if i had never started it. no error. so if it's not locking, i suggest checking the door lock. you could also try entering service mode and seeing if it'll pass through that (i have a tutorial video for that if you need it). let me know how you get on.

      do you mean E03? as mentioned in the video, this is an indicator of a fault with the NTC (ie the thermostat). could also be a fault with the heater relay on the PCB

    what if the machine will not work at all (can't rinse) due to E17
    Thanks

    • @thelaundrycookie1200
      @thelaundrycookie1200  2 года назад

      E17 is an oversuds error. if the drum is full of suds, add a bit of fabric softener into the main wash compartment of the drawer, followed by some water. this will help to remove the suds because fabric softener neutralises detergent.

    What is the solution for E10

    • @thelaundrycookie1200
      @thelaundrycookie1200  3 года назад +1

      E10 means the door is jammed. the door lock is probably at fault so try replacing that. however be aware that E10 may be caused by other internal issues such as the PCB

    What is the solution for e11

    • @thelaundrycookie1200
      @thelaundrycookie1200  Год назад

      E11 is a motor fault. first step is to check the brushes. if they're still good then it could be the motor itself or a potential board fault
