At the end of the day, it's less about who's the better singer, and more of who meets our preferences better. The best ranges and technical voices are probably going to be found in opera houses, yet Kelly and Mariah are way more well known and generally liked than those singers. Quality singers are able to combine their styles, emotions, and ranges to reach out to us listening. Everything else is up to interpretation.
