I think Robot God may be the best new band I heard in a long time! If I may offer some other worthy contenders. There's a Rock and Roll Revival happening in Greece with a number of good bands. Check "Villager of Iaonnina City - Age of Aquarius". Concept album, sing in English plus they use traditional folk instruments with their music. Also check out there Live video "Live in Athens" a really well done show! Best rock album 2021 in my book. "Sakis Tolis - Among the Fires of Hell". In English. Solo album released for free in 2022 on RUclips, best metal album 2022. "Planet of Zeus".Check out the song "On Parole". I think they got the best drummer in Greece playing for them. Head over to Japan "BandMaid - Thrill". 5 young ladies that are hot and know how to Rock! Really good musicians. "Ningen Isu - Battle of the Deities. and Heartless Scat". Really anything in the last 5 years is really good with these guys. Really good musicians as well, and amazing how much music they can put out for a 3 piece (kinda like Robot God in that sense.) "Seas on the Moon - The Regress" with Lena Scissorhands (Muldova). Two brothers that bring in guest singers and have a long list of great songs. Plus alot of good jamming instrumental songs as well. "Lacuna Coil - Blood, Tears, Dust". From Italy with Christina Scabia my favorite female singer right now. Anything from the album "Comalies" forward you can't go wrong. Very consistent with their song writing. (My number 1 all time fav female singer is Blondie - Debbie Harry.) Hopefully that shows I do have some taste and trying not to steer you wrong. lol Now for the best band you never heard of: "Pretty Maids" from the Netherlands. Check out "It Comes Alive" for a live concert video to best be introduced to the band. BY FAR the BEST live sound for a band in concert and a live video Period! And I'm a big fan of their drummer. They play for 90 minutes in concert. and got their start in the late 1980's and just recently I think had to stop touring due to the singer maybe getting cancer? It's kinda up in the air. But their list of good songs spans across their entire career. Really good group of musicians that should impress. Wish I had learned about them sooner than just a couple of years ago. They were always a "B" band in Europe sadly. I think they deserved much more, but they still managed to have a good and productive career with many many good songs. Strong sense of melody with Pretty Maids. Just please excuse the name. Still no idea where that came from. Now go crank that shit up! And Enjoy! Life without Music would be a Mistake!
